Zahedan- One day after the attack of a militant group on a frontier encampment near Pak-Iranborders, three members of one family were targeted by Mersaad unit of the police on Zahedan-Khash highway in southeastern Iran.
According to a report of the Campaign of BalochActivists, the security forces opened fire on a four member family moving from Zahedan to Khash at 25 kilometers of Khash on Wednesday 10 Sep. 2014. By the straight shooting of security force the driver lost his life on the spot. Others got serious injuries as the wife of the deceased driver is in critical situation.
Ezzat Moradzahi, brother of “Abdullah Moradzahi”, the deceased Baluch citizen,told the reporter of the campaign: “I andAbdullah are workers;we opened a little grocery in Khashcity. This shop is the only source of income for the two families of us.”
On Tuesday, a day before the incident, my brother moved to Zahedan to buy some goods and stuff which are cheaper in Zahedan for the grocery. His wife and children (family) accompanied him in this trip, too, he added more.
Ezzat further said: “But on Wednesday morning, when he was returningwith a pickup car full of edible goods, Mersaad forces closed the way and opened fire at themwithout any reason.”
The ten-yearold son of Abdullahwho has survived and othereye-witnesses say thatAbdullah was driving slowly andimmediately after the shootinghestopped. When people reached to the scene, Abdullah had died; thenthey moved his wounded wife and two children to Khash hospital, his brother added more.
The emergency doctors have reportedthe condition of the injured woman ‘critical’. She has been shifted to Zahedan which has more medic facilities.
Ezzat further complained, saying,“When I, my father and some of ourrelatives arrived at the scene, security forces did not allow us to approach to my brother’scorpse.When my father persisted to see his son, they dispersed us by air gunfire twice.
He also said: I with some eye-witnesses in the place took some pictures from car and the security forces but they attacked to us and took the sell-phone of some onlookers when they realized.
According to the latest reports, the culprits who opened fire on this family have been arrested.
Murder of two young Baluch onthe next day
According to some reports received by SunniOnline, security forces, subordinated to the police, have caused the death of two youth one day after shooting on a family near Khash city.
This incident took place near Dehpabaid, 110 km of Zahedan, where two passengers of a carwere burnt in the fire.
Due to some eye-witnesses, the car of two youth has been deviated from the road by shooting of the forces and inflamed immediately.
Condemning the incident,Mawlana Abdol-Hamid, Friday Imam of Sunnis in Zahedan,criticized the role of some security forces on national and international highways. He welcomed the detention of the culprits.
The governor of Sistan-Baluchistan province, Ali Awsat Hashemi has said in a post on his Facebook page: “Some experts have been sent to find out the facts; trespassers will be punished.”
