According to the office of Khateeb and Imam of the Friday prayers in Zahedan, southeastern Iran, Mr. Qazwini accused the Iranian Baloch Sunni women for traveling to Syria practicing “Jihad of Nikah”. The baseless and irrational words of Mr. Qazwini, director of Velayat Satellite TV channel based in the Qom city of Iran, have erupted massive anger of the Sunnis in Iran.
Talking to an international satellite TV channel, Shaikh Abdol-Hamid denounced the shameful accusation of ‘Sayyid Muhammad Hussieni Qazwini’. He asked Qazwini and his TV channel to apologize to the Baloch nation over attacking on Baloch women’s modesty.
The member of the International Union for Muslim Scholars (IUMS) underlined, “Qazwini’s sinister words just create differences in the society; all sides should avoid promoting sectarian disputes.”
The Shia cleric used the term “Jihad of Nikah” in his abusive statement that has been being utilized a lot in some national media sources. He claimed, “Some girls from Iran and Sistan-Baluchistan have gone [to Syria] for Jihad of Nikah.”
Meanwhile, there is no any credible book in the sources of Ahl-us-Sunnah with the term of “Jihad of Nikah”; all Sunni sects believe in “permanent marriage” instead of “interim marriage” that is illegal and Haram according to their tenets.
Qazwini alleged Baloch women by his spiteful and absurd words while the history and just individuals witness Baloch women have been famous and examples in modesty and purity. Bravery of Baloch men is contrary to the accusations of Qazwini and his fellows completely.
The Sunni and Baloch activists urged, “Qazwini and his like-minded fellows must know if Islam needs Jihad and fight, Baloch men would go anywhere it is needed. Instead of sending their daughters and women, they will enter the grounds and they are not afraid of death”.
