Palestinian young woman killed by IOF gunfire in refugee camp

A Palestinian young woman was killed and two others were wounded when Israeli occupation forces (IOF) opened fire at a group of citizens near Arub refugee camp in Al-Khalil.

The public relations department at Al-Ahli hospital in Al-Khalil city told the PIC that Lubna Hanash, 23, breathed her last after she was shot by the IOF troops in the head.

The hospital said that another young woman and a young man were injured in the shooting and were treated at the hospital.

Eyewitnesses told the PIC that an army vehicle carrying a number of soldiers passed near Al-Arub college and opened fire at a group of people.

They said that violent confrontations followed between the soldiers, who were backed by reinforcements, and angry youths.
