He pointed, ‘Muslim nations have experienced an era that was ruling of dictators. It was the time of such rulers who held power by coup or bogus elections. During that era, Muslim masses suffered from various sorts of troubles, they endured unbearable difficulties. Dictators were not ready to listen to their publics; Muslim nations could not bear the circumstances.’
Shaikh kept up saying that now, praise to Allah; Muslims have reached to social and Islamic awakening plus political formation.
The rector of Darululoom Zahedan indicated towards the death of Gaddafi, dictator of Libya and said, ‘Gaddafi got power in Libya by coup 42 years ago; he remained a complete opinionated ruler in his ruling era. Gaddafi used to name him self “king of the kings” and “leader of the Muslim nation”; but after years with shootings and massacre, he was killed by Libyans as they celebrated his death.’
Shaikh Ismaeelzahi pointed more saying that the Libyan nation is now in a new examination. After Gaddafi’s death, people got opportunity to enjoy freedom of speech. They can rule as they want. We hope the brave Libyan nation save their unification and step up towards liberation and Islamic democracy.
‘We hope all people who suffer from dictatorship and oppressor rulers to get rid of them; these dictators answer demands of their publics by tanks and bullet,’ he added.
Mawlana Abdul Hameed urged that oppressor rulers are in dilemma; this is a “divine punishment” for dictators. ‘I personally believe that those heads of states who do not respect demands of people have fallen in valley of divine punishment. Punished people lose sight of eye and ear; these dictators were not ready to accept their faults and listen to anyone till last breath,’ he further said.
Khateeb of Ahl-us-Sunna declared the end of Gaddafi lessonful and said that “Bin Ali”, “Hosni Mubarak” and other opinionated rulers are encountered by divine punishment.
He emphasized that situation is not like the past, the era of dictatorship and autocracy has been finished. It is expected that Muslims have independent territories and enjoy developing life in the new circumstances.
Weakness in faith & beliefs; reason of misdeeds
Shaikh-ul-Islam Mawlana Abdul Hameed initiated first khotbah of Friday by recitation of 20th verse of Sourat-ul-Hadeed and explained some commands of Islam. He urged that weakness and laziness in the case of adopting Islamic commands is due to faint in faith and beliefs.
He continued his points in this regard, ‘We live in the time of materialism; people mostly love the worldly means and look up just for enjoyments. This is the era of self glorification; people compete with each other to attain more and more money, they are proud to do so.’
The head of Sunni schools’ union went on saying that “spiritualism” is a great blessing of Allah Exalted. Materials and other worldly needs of mankind are blessings of Allah, but spiritualism is a greater divine gift. Muslims do not pay enough attention to this blessing so in result they commit misdeeds.
‘Due to that, many of Islamic commands have been neglected in Muslim societies. People do not conduct upon the five-pillars of Islam. There are tens of thousand houses where no one wakes up to offer Fajr prayers. Apart of Fajr prayers, many of Muslim brothers and sisters do not establish the rest of five-time prayers,’ Shaikh AbdulHameed added more.
In continuance, he said that “Zakah” and “Hajj” are two other very important pillars of Deen. Unfortunately, many of Muslims have neglected them. They must know that zakah is an obligation on every rich Muslim who has the specific amount of wealth; otherwise they would face divine punishment in grave. There are some wealthy Muslims who do not travel to Makkah and Madinah for pilgrim. Hajj is also obligatory. The prophet (peace be upon him) said that when Hajj becomes wajib on somebody and s/he does not go to Hajj, s/he is free to die as s/he wants; as a Christian or a Jew! So everybody must strive to increase his faith and strengthen it.
