Khateeb of the Sunni community in Zahedan, Shaikh Abdul Hameed talked over the importance of the Qur’an and said that holy Qur’an is one of the most important parts of human life; every one needs this great divine book.
He pointed out towards the tenth function of national competition of hifz and Qiraa’h which was held in Darululoom Zahedan and said that dozens of students took part in the competition function. Holy Qur’an is a great reason of Almighty Allah’s blessings and mercy.
Shaikh added more, ‘What ever we have from the different sorts of blessings, all of them are due to the Qur’an and Sunnah, he will be secured from aberration and misdirection; rather the prosperity and honor can be achieved by these two principles. Holy prophet صلی الله علیه وسلم said that the followers of the Qur’an and Sunnah would not be devious.
Talking to tens of thousands in the grand Makki mosque of Zahedan, Shaikh pointed that the Muslim ummah is proud and honored for carrying the last divine message for human beings; holy Qur’an is the biggest historical document and evidence. This is the greatest miracle of holy prophet Muhammad صلی الله علیه وسلم that challenged the entire world fourteen centuries ago, but no one could bring an example like the Qur’an and can’t do so in future.
The eminent scholar urged that when Muslims were adopting the bright teachings of the Qur’an, they were the most honorable and powerful nation over the world. We created cultures and bright histories. Slaves got high status by Qur’an as robbers became leaders of nations.
Shaikh Abdul Hameed emphasized that holy Qur’an teaches us the lesson of sobriety; this is the method of this divine book as well. We should strive to read it properly and understand its holy verses and immortal teachings. If Muslims follow the Qur’an truly, their all problems and crises would be eliminated including sectarian and personal disputes, their past honor and power would return.
