Shaikh A.Hameed: Qur’an & Sunna for ever, all nations

Khateeb of Ahl-us-Sunna in Zahedan, Shaikh-ul-Islam Mawlana Abdul Hameed visited on the last Friday, 1st April, “Galougah”, a village of Zahedan city where he met people of the surounding areas. He delivered Friday sermon in the grand mosque of Galougah before hundreds of worshipers.

Holy Qur’an attracts and changes hearts:

The prominent Islamic scholar began his sermon by reciting of few selected verses from the Al-Nahl and Al-Ankabout chapters.
He said that the Qur’an impresses its reader and listener; this great book attracts every body and alters hearts. The angels gather around the reciters of the Qur’an when they hear the voice. This is the book which made the jins silent and caused their conversion to Islam.
He added more, ‘The Arabs before Islam were so hard-hearted, they were worshiping stone and hood; it was holy Qur’an that changed them and softened their hearts, finally they acknowledged that it can not be the words of any human kind.’
‘When the first caliph, Abu Bakr Al-Siddiq (may Allaah be pleased with him) was reciting the Qur’an in Makka, the people used to listen him carefully, as many of polytheist pagans embraced Islam, it was the impression of holy Qur’an,’ Shaikh added.

Mankind needs both Qur’an & Sunna:

Khateeb of Sunnis emphasized that Sunna and the bright teachings of the Prophet Muhammad (صلی الله علیه وسلم) are not for a particular time, rather they are for every era and nation. Human kind can not be free from the need of the Qur’an and Sunna in all situations even with the highest material development.
He pointed that implementation of the teachings of Qur’an brings “spring” of blessings and spiritualities.

Muslims are neglectful over the mortal world and death:

Shaikh-ul-Islam classified the life of this world a “game” and “toy” which finishes very soon.
He continued saying, ‘Youth, health, wealth and high posts are finite and mortal. Almighty Allah guides us to be attracted by nothing of this mortal and little worldly means. You have seen even some kings and powerful presidents fled from their countries without holding any wealth recently; the real life is the endless life of the Hereafter.
The eminent Sunni leader further said that nowadays Muslims are neglectful from the two undeniable facts; reality of this world and its tools and “death”, despite everyday we see people depart from the mortal world, we do not prepare for death which may come in any time.

Equip your children education:

At the end, Shaikh Abdul Hameed encouraged the audience to provide their children Qur’anic and modern educations.
He said that a positive change ultimately come after spreading Qur’anic knowledge, then human societies would be free of diseases and problems.
‘Some admirable steps have been taken in the field of Quranic studies; it is not enough, at least there should be in each house one Hafidh. Both boys and girls must get education. You should support administers of Qur’anic and public schools,’ he concluded..
