Shaikh A.Hameed: Implementation of Quran Made Sahabas Superpower

Khateeb of Ahl-us-Sunna in Zahedan enlightened the main reason for the wonderful success of the first Muslim generations in his latest Friday sermon, saying, “Muslims in the initial centuries touched the peak of prosperity, development and power, that was the era when the Companions of the last prophet صلی الله علیه وسلم and other Muslims were practicing the bright teachings of the holy Quran and the prophet’s Sunna (the path of holy prophet [PBHU]; as their total life was according to the Quran and Sunna.”

Explaining the causes of Muslims’ degeneration after their ascension in the world, Shaikh Abdul Hameed added that the bone of contention is elusion of Quran and Sunna, when they went away from the holy Quran and the seera of the holy prophet the united Muslim states divided into many countries.

“Wastage of the rights of Allah almighty and His creatures, various sort of misdeeds, love of money and the temporal world as well as emulation of Jews and Christians had become pervasive cholera among the Muslim societies, in the result their dark era of deterioration started, almighty Allah did not support them due to their worst misdeeds,’ he further added.

Returning to Quran & Sunna is the only solution:

The prominent Sunni leader urged that if Muslims want to regain their brilliant past and get rid of the ongoing crises, they must act as Sahabas did. The only solution is returning towards the Quran and Sunna’s brilliant teachings.

Shaikh added more, “Holy Quran is the best divine book which was descended in the best area on the best person in the universe by the best angle. It is the book of guidance, we should implement its all teachings in our lives; both private and social.”

The eminent khateeb emphasized that holy Quran is an easy logical book with interpretation. It is not like a subject of any academic institute which is understandable for a specific group of students; Quran is a great book for everyone, scholars, students, lecturers, formers and tradesmen etc. But it is so important that for getting the contexts of holy Quran you should learn from any expert knowledgeable teacher. It is the blessing of Allah that now a days youths are inclined in the Islamic studies. These are youths who challenged the dictators over the Muslim world by continues demonstrations.

Society should support needy students:

The head of Darululoom Zahedan raised another notable issue saying, “Recently we had a meeting with some academic personalities; they informed us about a serious problem that some intelligent and talented students want to acquire higher education and specialize in the subject they want, but they can not afford the fee.”

Shaikh urged that every body should meditate about this issue. Both men and women can allot some shares of their incomes or establish a fund for such talented but needy students so that they will serve the country and nation in future.

We should pray for the oppressed Libyans to succeed:

Khateeb of Sunnis in Zahedan indicated towards the fresh public movements in some Muslim countries and mass killing of innocent Libyan citizens by Qaddafi forces and stressed that people are sick of their corrupt and puppet rulers. The Libyan bold nation wants to get rid of such dictator.

“We should pray for the Libyan’s sooner success in their struggle. May Allah bring a change in all Muslim states and include this change to every Muslim citizen,” Shaikh concluded.
