‘Ban on Liberties & Mass Arrests, not Solution’

Khateeb of Ahl-us-Sunna, Shaikh-ul-Islam Mawlana Abdul Hameed talked about the ‘anti dictator’ movements in the Middle East and said that the events occurred in Tunisia and Egypt are indicating to the major changes in the region, as well as the public movements has become dilemma for the corrupt rulers.

Declaring freedom one of the basic necessities for human beings, Shaikh added, “When a person looses liberties, he/she feels inflexibility and uneasiness; as Allah almighty has created each human being liberated; that is why people have the right to live freely”.
Indicating towards the recent protest and reaction of the security authorities in Iran, Shaikh Abdul Hameed urged on the implementation of rules & regulations truthfully and honestly, he said, ‘Though the Iranian Constitution is not free of mistakes as it was made by some human brain, but its complete implementation indiscriminately can maintain national unity and strengthen peace.’
The eminent scholar and Sunni leader made it clear that Sunni Muslims of Iran just demand their Constitutional rights, the Article XII urges on the religious and educational liberty of Sunnis in Iran. He added, ‘Implementation of this article can reduce many complaints of Sunni Muslims of Iran.’
Shaikh emphasized that if the Iranian rulers want to over come the going on circumstances and remain safe from any bad condition as the Middle East witnessed the great change of revolution, they must ensure freedom of speech, media and politics. To snatch their basic rights and interrupt their religious activities would surely bring them on roads and forced them to chant slogans against the rulers. Instead their detention and suppression the government should listen to the public voices with open minds.

Fresh positive changes in the Middle East:
Talking about the current public protest in the region, Khateeb of Sunnis further said, ‘We think the positive changes are taking place in the Middle East, we consider these movements as good and mercy of almighty Allah.’
Mawlana Abdul Hameed pointed out that human beings are free creature and they would fight for freedom till their last breath. If you place any body into paradise by force he would not be ready to accept it! On the other hand, if you take some body towards hell by soft words and lovely way he would move with you; this is the nature of human beings.‘There is no doubt that every body has been created by Allah free, but do not forget that good deeds take you to the paradise and the destination of misdeeds is the fire of hell,’ Shaikh-ul-Islam concluded.

Biography of the holy Prophet in Quran:
Reciting some verses of holy Quran in first part of his sermon Shaikh pointed that if any one wants to know the best about the biography of the last prophet Muhammad (pbuh), so holy Quran is the best and comprehensive book. None of the writers could explain the Prophet’s biography as Quran describes it.
Shaikh added, ‘The entire life of the holy Prophet was completely according to the light full teachings of Quran. If Muslims want to regain their past bright status, they must follow the holy Quran and Sunnah of Allah’s last messenger.’
