‘Chastity is necessary for Muslim men, women’

The eminent Sunni leader Shaikh-ul-Islam Mawlana Abdul Hameed discussed on late Friday some Islamic etiquette and emphasized the audience to have the manners of getting permission before entering to any home as well as lowering the gazes. He recited the Quranic verse:

“ياأَيُّهَا الَّذِينَ آَمَنُوا لَا تَدْخُلُوا بُيُوتًا غَيْرَ بُيُوتِكُمْ حَتَّى تَسْتَأْنِسُوا وَتُسَلِّمُوا عَلَى أَهْلِهَا ذَلِكُمْ خَيْرٌ لَكُمْ لَعَلَّكُمْ تَذَكَّرُونَ”
(you who believe! Enter not houses other than your own, until you have asked permission and greeted those in them; that is better for you, in order that you may remember.)
Shaikh added, “We believe in one Almighty God, our Allah almighty commands His believer servants to adopt those things which maintain the peace of society, so the mentioned orders related to asking permission before entering and giving the greeting of Salam after asking. Certainly if any one follows none of such valuable God guided orders he will collapse in different kinds of evils.”

The sources which don’t let a single evil:
Respected Shaikh added more that there many precious thoughts which are taught us by our holy Quran, they are as following:
To lower gaze: its an important source to save our selves from sins and other evils, there is a Hadeeth of our Holy prophet (PBUH) that “The gaze is an arrow amongst the arrows of Satan” in the same way Holy Quran says:
“قُلْ لِلْمُؤْمِنِينَ يَغُضُّوا مِنْ أَبْصَارِهِمْ وَيَحْفَظُوا فُرُوجَهُمْ ذَلِكَ أَزْكَى لَهُمْ إِنَّ اللَّهَ خَبِيرٌ بِمَا يَصْنَعُونَ”
Tell the believing men to lower their gaze, and protect their private parts. That is purer for them. Verily, Allah is All-Aware of what they do.
Therefore it is not allowed for any believer to see towards stranger woman, specially when it is carnal gaze; because all the women are must be covered completely, other wise our enemy Satan will get an opportunity to indulge us in many evils. As well as women must not look at stranger men as Allah almighty says:
: “وَقُلْ لِلْمُؤْمِنَاتِ يَغْضُضْنَ مِنْ أَبْصَارِهِنَّ وَيَحْفَظْنَ فُرُوجَهُنَّ وَلَا يُبْدِينَ زِينَتَهُنَّ”
And tell the believing women to lower their gaze, and protect their private parts and not to show off their adornment

Woman must have veil:
According to the teachings of Holy Quran women must stay in their houses, if they are compelled to go out side they have to cover themselves with sheets to be saved from the stranger looking.

Importance of “Soorah Al-Noor”:
Respected Shaikh asked the people to study “Soora Al-Noor” that its verses explain the chastity and guiltiness of  Syeda Aayisha (RA), besides it contains many Islamic commands, such as: Having veil, staying at home for women, seeking permission, lowering gaze for both women & men, in the same way when you knock other’s doors so its necessary to introduce your self. If some body asks from inside a home, who are you? do not reply: I am! Introduce yourself instead.

Autocratic should wake up after Tunisia’s public revolution
Talking to a large number of worshipers, Shaikh Abdul Hameed indicated towards the Tunisian incidents and warned the rulers who do not fulfill the public demands by exercising injustice stances.
Referring to the revolution which upraised before some days in Tunis he said that the way Tunisian ensured their braveness and dismissed the government of autocratic, Bin Ali, offers an urgent lesson to every one who tries to impose his individual point of view and pays no attentions to the demands of masses.
Shaikh said more that such events are absolute warning to all the administrations as well as to both Muslim rulers and Non Muslim ones who always utilize their weapons and force to prolong their power and control public, but its fact that no cruel power can abide when the power of masses upraises to finish all the unkind systems.
Shaikh said in the last, “Now many other states due to their wrong policies, inequality and injustice treatment with the masses fear for such revolutions in their territories, there is a proverb in our Balochi language: “Wolf eats the sheep of unfortunate person, fortunate one first of all cares of his sheep!” In the same way today the sheep of “Bin Ali” has been eaten in Tunisia, so the other ruling and administrative of states should learn the lesson and start caring of their sheep, other wise the power of innocent public will take them under the surface deep water.
