MASHHAD: The Iranian Intelligence Ministry officials summoned Shaikh Muhammad Mowahhed Fadheli on late Sunday, 16th January 2011 to Mashhad and asked him to quit rank of khateeb in Taybad city of Khorasan Razawi province.
Shaikh Fadheli is one of the great personalities of Khorasan; he has got graduation from “Al-Imam University” of Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. He exercises in “Tayebad” many activities; in educational and preaching fields, as well as in the bringing up the new generation. Since he was assigned khateeb of the grand mosque of Taybad, he worked hard to maintain national peace and unity in the society; that is why the people love him too much.
Regarding the ongoing system in the Sunni community, Sunni Muslims of Taybad selected Shaikh Fadheli to lead them Juma’h prayer. According to credible information, doing his religious services he condemned the negative efforts which were done by the official Iranian TV to insult the prophet’s companionsرضی اللہ عنهم اجمعین , specially he extremely criticized the on air drama serial of “Mukhtar Namah” in which clearly the great Sahabi (prophet’s companion) Abdullah bin Zubair (RA) has been targeted.
Such kind of negative efforts to force any public selected person are considered a clear interference in the affairs of Ahl-us-Sunnah wal Jamaa’h, as well as it is hundred percent against the Iranian Constitution and the rules of religious independence all over the world, non of the governments can interfere in the religious activities of any particular community, but it is challenged here in Iran, as most of the Sunni scholars are targeted by different ways to pressurize them by any way is possible.
