IOA continues settlement construction in Occupied Jerusalem

OCCUPIED JERUSALEM, (PIC)– The Israeli occupation authority (IOA) has continued settlement activities in the occupied Palestinian capital, Jerusalem, as it gave the green light for the construction of 24 settlement units near Al-Zaiton Mount the overlooks the Aqsa Mosque.

Known for its defiance to the international will, the Zionist entity gave licenses to start the building of those settlement units directly to accommodate around 24 Israeli settlers’ families in the eastern part of Jerusalem.
According to Hebrew sources, the rightist Israeli group El-A’ad, which is known for encouraging and carrying out settlement activities on the occupied Palestinian lands, stands behind the building of those units.
The representative of the Jerusalem municipality at the district planning and building commission, Yaer Ghbai, said that the city was an open city and it would remain so forever, adding that Jews have the full right to dwell in the city anytime and anywhere they wish and no one could deny them this right.
