Demo against drone attacks outside Parliament House
A protest demonstration was held here outside the Parliament House against drone attacks, Geo News reported Friday.
Families and friends of victims of drone attacks from tribal areas besides members of civil society turned up in large number to participate in the protest demonstration.
Lal Mosque Khateeb, Maulana Abdul Aziz in his address on the occasion demanded of the government to stop Nato’s supply line so that the US and Western powers no more dare to violate the sovereignty and territorial integrity of Pakistan.
Former ISI chief Lt. Gen. (Retd.) Hameed Gul in his speech said the present democratic set up has witnessed more deaths compared to Musharraf era in which so far 2200 innocent children have lost their lives. But, the government had continued to remain a silent spectator, he added.
