Asian aid shipment en route to Gaza

TEHRAN, (PIC)– An Asian convoy loaded with humanitarian material to the besieged Gaza Strip has arrived in the Iranian city of Zahedan after passing through many cities to rally support for the trip.

125 relief institutions in India, Pakistan, Iran, Indonesia, Malaysia, Turkey, and other Asian nations have contributed to the convoy, which is carrying medical and relief assistance and is expected to head to Turkey from Iran.
The convoy organizers purchase the medical and relief supplies and send them to Syria, which will serve as the last stop for the convoy before sailing to El-Arish in Egypt en route to Gaza Strip.
A responsible source in the Jordanian Lifeline relief committee said that it would contribute to the Asian convoy, which is slated to arrive in Gaza on the second anniversary of the war on the Strip.
He added that a delegation of the organizers is to visit Jordan on 22nd December for meetings with syndicate, partisan, and popular committees representatives along with members of the Lifeline committee.
