Detention of a teacher of D.M Zahedan

ZAHEDAN: In a series of pressure on the Sunnis in Iran, Sheikh Ismaeel Mullazai, teacher of Darululoom Zahedan and son-in-law of Sheikh Abdul Hameed, prominent leader of Ahl-us-Sunna, was arrested on Monday here in Zahedan, Iran.

According the reports we have received some people in civilian clothing have detained Hafedh Ismaeel, it seems that they were members of the Intelligence Ministry.
Ismaeel Mullazai son of Sheikh Mohammed Islam and son-in-law of the eminent Sunni leader Sheikh Abdul Hameed was arrested on Monday morning, 1st Nov. when he was on a road in Zahedan city.
After Shaikh’s detention the elements of the intelligence department came to his home as they confiscated his personal computer.
The arrest of Hafedh Ismaeel Mullazai took place after the imprisonment of “Haji Abdul Rahim” in Tehran lately who is also the son-in-law of Shaikh-ul-Islam Mawlana Abdul Hameed IsmaeelZahi, khateeb of the Sunnis in Zahedan.
Some analysts say that the purpose of these illegal detentions is to enlarge pressure on the Sunni leaders.
