Scores killed in Kandahar explosions

Powerful multiple explosions have reportedly killed at least ten people and wounded several others in the troubled southern Afghanistan. The blasts took place in Kandahar Province where heavy fighting is taking place between US-led foreign forces and militants.

Officials say another 24 people have been wounded.
According to police, a car bomb explosion took place first and was followed by other explosions.
The target of the explosions remains unclear.
No person or group has claimed responsibility for the attack.
