‘Returning Palestinians’ territories is the only solution’

On the occasion of al-Quds day celebration, the imam and khateeb of Makki masjid Shaikh Abdul Hameed said, “Today is the International Day of Al-Quds which is an annual event opposing Israel’s control of Jerusalem, (Al-Quds in Arabic: القـُدْس). To support our Palestinian brothers the demonstrations are held on this day in Iran as well as in most Muslim and Arab countries and by Muslim and non-Muslim communities around the world.”

Shaikh extremely rejected all the imputations which the Palestinians were accused with. As Israel or other pagan forces call them terrorists and every coming day the innocent people are killed, their youngsters are badly tortured, men & women are exiled from their homes, rather their properties are broken down, more over their lands are transferred to the foreigners who come from some where else and stay over there.

Why the Palestine issue has not solved yet?
Shaikh more added, “There are more examples of many countries which were occupied by English imperialists and United States but after much struggles those territories were liberated from their occupations; because US and other forces them selves wanted to transfer the lands to their inhabitants, but the matter of Palestine is totally different, more then half century has passed still it’s most territories are occupied by Zionists, certainly the reason is Jews them selves, they do not want to exit the Palestine because they are supported to stay there and never let them live peacefully.”

How is it possible to fight against terrorism without rooting out its causes?
Shaikh pointed out towards an important issue that naturally when the diseases are treated so first of all doctors try to find out the main causes of diseases, after that they start fighting against them to treat patient, but here US and her allies gathered around the world and collected their total powers to fight against ‘terrorism’, rather still they have not found out the roots and main causes of terrorism, and all of them cam together, kept attacking Muslims’ sacred places and their territories, in addition to it such authorities never wanted to be aware of Palestinians’ views, it is also cleared that terrorism is condemned by each one who wants to live in this world whether he is Muslim or none Muslim.
Such forces are asked for searching the peace of entire world and preferring to negotiations to come together and find out the roots and main causes of terrorism, then they should struggle against it; certainly they never achieve their goals by breaking down the houses of Palestinians or other masses in the world.
The eminent Sunni leader stressed on UN to establish international bench court to listen to Palestinians by providing them all the facilities for prosecution their petition and rights by solid witnesses.
Respected Shaikh declared such delegations failed and unsuccessful which are not based on sincerity and requested the whole surrounding countries to find out the main reasons of terror campaign and to return the basic rights of Palestinian nation.

In the first part of his sermon the great Shaikh called people to thank to Allah almighty that He blessed us by the month of Ramadan, especially these last ten days and facilitated us to observe fasting and performing prayers day and night, and thanking to Allah almighty can be observed by the words of thanks, as the best of such words are الحمد لله رب العالمين besides it can be performed by our actions to obey the divine instructions all the times.
He more said, “We came very close to the last Jumah of the blessed month Ramadan al Mubarak and these last days of this great month are so important which are about departing, we must have Taqwa (piousness) as the main target of Ramadan is also to get Taqwa (piousness). We should grant charities to the deserved persons, as well as the poor people must be helped by fulfilling their needs, this month is for recitation of holy Qur’an, in the same way we should have our accountability in the rest times that how much we have got advantages of this month? How much we have become close to Allah almighty? How much we have got control on our spiritual diseases? How many nights we have worshiped in? As the holy prophet (PBUH) during the last ten days of Ramadan would wake his wives up during the night and then remain apart from them (that is, being busy in acts of worship). A narration in Muslim states: “He would strive [to do acts of worship] during the last ten days of Ramadan more than he would at any other time.”
Umm-ul-Mumenin Ayisha (R.A) reported that with the start of the last ten days of Ramadan, the Prophet used to tighten his waist belt and used to pray all the night, he used to keep his family awake for the prayers.
Mawlana Abdul Hameed added more that Ramadan al Mubarak was like a Spring rain, certainly it dropped down it’s blessings upon us and now it is departing us, so we must take the benefits of such blessed days and nights, we must try to be not deprived of blessings of such valuable times; because; Whoever is deprived of its good is really deprived [of something great].
At the end of his speech Shaikh asked the people to keep remembering the death and what will appear after the death, thus every one among us must prepare for such critical events where only our deeds can be useful not other things, as well as we should pay back the rights of others which we have taken as a borrow.
