Talking to a large number of people in the Grand Makki masjid of Zahedan, Iran, the head of Darululoom Zahedan has said, “As it is not legitimate to offend opponents it is also not allowed in Islam to insult the followers of other doctrines, Some people are used to abuse and insult the religious schools and scholars; it is really detrimental for them. It is necessary to keep maintain the respect of all institutes and personalities all the time.”
“Certainly it is the duty of all to maintain the sanctity of all; their blood, honor and wealth are respected, and everyone must take care of these taboos. Islam is a great religion and its teachings are for betterment of human life, but regretfully Muslims do not care for these teachings in their lives,” Khateeb of Makki Masjid pointed.
In anther part of his sermon, Mawlana Abdul Hameed recited the verse of Holy Qur’an: ” وَإِذْ أَخَذْنَا مِيثَاقَ بَنِي إِسْرَائِيلَ لَا تَعْبُدُونَ إِلَّا اللَّهَ وَبِالْوَالِدَيْنِ إِحْسَانًا وَذِي الْقُرْبَى وَالْيَتَامَى وَالْمَسَاكِينِ وَقُولُوا لِلنَّاسِ حُسْنًا وَأَقِيمُوا الصَّلَاةَ وَآَتُوا الزَّكَاةَ ثُمَّ تَوَلَّيْتُمْ إِلَّا قَلِيلًا مِنْكُمْ وَأَنْتُمْ مُعْرِضُونَ “; [And recall what time We took a bond with the Children of Israel saying: worship not any god save Allah, and unto parents show kindness, and also unto the kindred and the orphans and the poor, and speak kindly unto mankind, and establish prayer and give the poor rate. Then ye turned away, save a few of you, and ye are backsliders.] Explaining the importance of kinship ties and the rights of parents. Shaikh continued saying: “The religions that passed before Islam, all of them had stressed on the importance of the ties of kinship and the rights of relatives, parents and the rights of the needy and the handicapped. The Holy Qur’an quoted from the Bible and the previous divine books these provisions which are mentioned in Qur’anic verses.
All civilizations, heavenly or non-heavenly, strongly try their level best to pay good attention to make good relation with kindred and show kindness to parents who are the cause for mercy and compassion.”
He added, “Favoring parents is one of the most prominent of human morals. If it did not get initiated and inspired by the afflatus, ordered to show kindness to parents and to have good ties with kinship, it is appropriate sound and the human mind should order to do good with them.”
Interpreting the recited verse Shaikh more said that there is no a greater provision than the worship of Allah Almighty and the allocation of worship goes only to Almighty alone, involving no one in this important obligation with Him , Allah is our Creator and Provider each and every thing. So the most important issue is to worship only Allah and we must specialize all physical and financial worships to Allah Almighty not involving any one in the worship.”
Shaikh Abdul Hameed pointed out to the kindness to parents as it is the most important right of the people’s rights, saying: “After fulfilling the greatest rights of Allah Almighty that is to be kind to parents and to treat them well and serve them with money and soul. It is a luck and Excellency of those offspring that get chance to serve their parents. A man came to the Prophet (may Allah bless him and grant him peace) asking him to do jihad (fighting against non believers) the holy prophet (PBUH) asked him: “do you have parents?” he replied: Yes. The holy prophet Muhammad said: “Do jihad serving them.”
The right of parents is great and heavy especially when they became old and lose their strength, their right became heavier and greater.
Owais (Allah’s mercy on him) was living in the era of the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) but he could not meet him because of serving of his parents he did not meet him. So the holy Prophet advised the second Caliph Omar (Allah be pleased with him) to ask for dua and penitence from Owais Qarni. He had got this status because of this golden act not lots of worshiping.”
Indicating to one of the features of Islamic civilization, the rights of neighbors Shaikh Abdul Hameed further said that dealing good with neighbors is their right, we should support them always and participate their happiness and sadness, if they are sick so we should look after them, to inspect their conditions is their right. Islam has not ordered only to do only the physical acts of worship, but a command to good deal with God’s creation and peaceful coexistence with everyone is also a part of the Islam’s teachings. Islam did not prevent charity to infidels who are not warrior and did not exceed the land of the Muslims, as well as Muslims are forbidden from infringing on women, children and old persons of infidels during war as well as infringement on the sects attributed to Islam is outlawed.
Pointing out towards the month of Sh’aban, the head of Darululoom Zahedan said, “Sha’ban is the month of repent and turns to God and to prepare for the month of Ramadan, the month of fasting, the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) was observing fast in Sha’ban more than the months after the Ramadan.
It is the month to perform Zakat; in many Muslim countries Sha’ban is the month of paying Zakat, you should also do the same.”
His eminence urged the worshipers to donate to Darululoom Zahedan and more said that Jamia needs your donations, Darululoom has been coming active Islamic institute by the help of Allah and your gifts and donations; it is disable to pay the salaries of its staff for four months. So make some shares of your Zakat and other donations for Darululoom Zahedan.
