Shaikh A.Hamid demands to root out the reasons of insecurity

Shaikh-ul-Islam Maulana Abdul Hameed, Imam of Grand Makki mosque condemned the bombings which took place last Thursday, at 15th July 2010 in the provincial capital of Sistan & Balochistan “Zahedan”, and the blasts claimed more than twenty people while three hundred got injured in this incident. Saying more, “We all are worried and afraid of such bomb blasting because nowadays these painful incidents are usually occurring in our beloved country and claim the lives of a large number of our brothers and countrymen; there is hardly a sane person who does not worry for these incidents.”

The Grand Shaikh pointed out: “the Muslims blood is so respectable that none is allowed to shade it with out any lawful reason. and further said, “the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) In his famous speech at the Farewell Pilgrimage at Mina explained the sanctity of Muslim blood as well as the property and honor, as he says: “Each of your honor and property and your blood is haram sacred as this day (is not allowed any one to degrade it), in this place and this (haram) month.” The Prophet (peace be upon him) expressed in this hadeeth the sanctity of Muslim blood for another Muslim, and the sanctity of Muslim’s honor over a Muslim, as the holy prophet (PBUH) compared the severity and sanctities of these three terms to the sanctity of Eid day, haram place (Makkah Mukarramah) and hara’m & sacred month  dhu al-Hijjah, which is one of the most forbidden. Inviolability of the shedding of Muslim blood is equal to the sanctities of the three combined, as well as the sanctity of honor and property.” even though Our sharia does not allow blood shedding of non-believers as well and snatching their money unless they are combatants and invaders on our country to occupy our holy sites, so what about the blood of Muslims. Not only shedding of Muslim blood and bloodshed of the sects which attribute to the followers of Islam is prohibited, but it is one of the heavier taboos of Allah,” He added.
Khateeb of Makki mosque asked questions from the perpetrators of this incident, saying, “Which logic and fatwa allows such practices? Who can allow attacking those who attend the mosque? Any forensic Mufti issued fatwa of the legitimacy of such attacks? Who is responsible for this blood that was shed?”
Maulana Abdul Hameed continued saying: “Shedding of Muslim blood is forbidden, and the targeting the holy places where the people worship their God is extremely forbidden, even the worship places of the Jews and the Christians as well as the holy places of other religions are also not allowed to be targeted. Who could be responsible for killed persons before Allah?”
Shaikh presented the reported hadeeth of the holy prophet (PBUH) in sanctity of Muslim’s blood where a companion killed a non-believer who recited kalmia before his death during the battle. When the prophet Muhammad came to know he announced his purgation from that companion’s action.
He added, “I am not aware which kind of aims they want from growing fire of division and sectarianism among the people of this city who have lived many years considering themselves brothers and spent their days side by side, where universities and religious schools as well as businesses are active? Who guided them to take even such steps, and raid on markets, vacate the security and safety of people in the name of jihad? Certainly this is not jihad to kill your brother but it is corruption! A wise can not accept such acts.”
He addressed the doers of on going violence in the province saying, “I request you to stop these activities, so if madaaris, mosques and religious centers and other places are not safe then where do people go to live? It is my sincere advice to you, never consider it a political statement, I do not speak politically.”
The grand Shaikh indicated towards concern of Pakistani scholars about targeting holy places and innocent people, saying, “The scholars of Pakistan are very concerned and worried of targeting the holy places and innocent people who present in such places, an initiative group of emotional blow up shrines or blasting bombs on streets, or blowing up mosques and other acts of violence, which kills innocent people.” The head of the largest Sunni school asked the Iranian officials to study the incident, saying, “There is no doubt that the incident was a painful and inflammatory, but feelings and emotions should not make us forget to study the root causes of these incidents, a comprehensive study and complete investigation is needed. My demand from the officials is that to examine security issues and pursue problem-solving and crisis reflection with open hearts, and avoid the overcoming feelings.
If we deal with crises emotionally it will increase rather than to be eradicated. So the authorities must know the roots of issues and crises and treat it with thinking then easily it will be resolved, and end it up completely. When disease of ills is known it makes it easier for the doctor to treat that fully.
Instead of giving all the opportunities to enemies it is better  root out the causes of such incidents and our government should spend her large portion of time and money and look for the master mind elements who do such critical activities as soon as possible it is possible. So the officials should recognize the main causes of the matter and examine the roots of these crises and accidents, then try to treat them.”
At the end of his speech, Shaikh recommended the audience saying: “It was not expected that such incidents would take place in our country like what happened recently and a similar incident in the last year, anxiety and confusion accost everybody, but I recommend to everyone to maintain calm and restraint, awareness and vigilance, by vigilance security remains maintained.”
The great Sunni leader recommended the officials to tighten surveillance to preserve the property of people from exposure, saying: “The security forces should be high alert seriously to subject to people’s wealth and honor to any sect they belong, and we also use our responsibility to prevention of exposure to the people’s properties, and I hope also the government compensate those who lost their properties, shops or lost their lives. After such incidents some people destroyed their opponents’ shops and cars, as I hope it would be the last accident which witnessed in our city.”
