Maulana Abdul Hameed while having the Friday sermon referred to the issue of moderation in Islam and said, “Islam is the only moderate religion, naturally all the instructions related to the whole walks of life of Islam are based on sensibleness.”
“As the materialism and sensuality is forbidden in Islam so it is also strongly prohibited to be cut off the society, family and the natural life of mankind.
Islam teaches that: every mankind should live among the people and look for lawful aliment, but he is not allowed to be secularist and materialist. In the same way our religion instructs us to have piousness and worship just one almighty God, but we are not allowed to give up the usual life and to escape to mountains or deserts” he added.
Shaikh-ul-Islam Maulana Abdul Hameed continued his sermon and more said, “Islam is the moderate religion neither it pays tribute to extremism nor it admires wastage in any thing. The Western and materialists excess in material life and Christian priests took the side of wastage in this issue. But Islam says: “نعم المال الصالح للرجل الصالح “; (Happy the good riches for the righteous man). It means having the lawful property for any good man is not a problem.”
Maulana Abdul Hamid further said that Islam is the religion of purity, goodness and having believes to do good and spread out good things, keeping in mind such a great instructions everyone should fully act and follow up completely the Islam religion and its morality, and the bad habits such as avarice, hatred, envy and etc must be avoided.
He continued saying, “Islam is the religion of justice, honesty and good behavior. Islam has given the rights of all segments of society; including the women rights it has allocated the total human rights. Islam dignities their befitting rights.”
Maulana Abdul Hamid declared the only way to get success to follow the moderate teachings of Islam and said, “Islam is the cause of community safety and it is the source of all good teachings, if the world follows Islam entirely and adopts Islamic teachings certainly the whole human problems in the society would be solved.”
At the end of his sermon Shaikh noted, “Nowadays because of lack of temperance in the world people suffer chaos and disorder. The only solution is to return towards moderation in Islam, Islam can save the world from crises and bring happiness and success.”
