MIRANSHAH: The death toll of drone strike in North Waziristan has reached to 13 whereas 12 others wounded in the incident.
Sources said drone fired four missiles at a house in Datta Khel in which 13 people were killed and 12 injured whereas two houses completely destroyed. The injured were rushed to hospital.
Meanwhile, drone flights still going on in the areas creating panic among the locals.
The target of the attack — the second within 12 hours — was a house in Bahadar Khel village, some 50 kilometres (30 miles) west of Miranshah, the main town in North Waziristan, officials said.
“US drones fired three missiles at a house used by militants around 7.30 am (0230 GMT) killing at least three militants,” a senior security official in Peshawar told AFP.
