IOF soldiers kill three fighters in northern Gaza
Israeli occupation forces (IOF) killed three Palestinian resistance fighters in Beit Lahia, northern Gaza Strip, on Tuesday bringing the number of martyrs to five in a single day, medical sources reported.
Muawiya Hasanein, director of ambulance and emergency in the health ministry, told the PIC reporter that the three were targeted by an Israeli missile that directly hit them mutilating their bodies.
He said that it was difficult to recognize the martyrs in view of their condition.
However, sources in the Nasser Salahuddin Brigades, the armed wing of the popular resistance committees, said that the three were of its cadres.
In another incident, IOF troops shelled a Palestinian house in Abasan east of Khan Younis afternoon Tuesday completely destroying it, PIC reporter said.
He added that the house was deserted.
Medical sources said that a Palestinian old woman was injured when the IOF soldiers fired at her east of Rafah, south of the Gaza Strip.
The sources said that Salma Abu Shalluf, 65, was moderately wounded, adding that two bullets hit both her legs.
Masri: Israeli escalation points to criminal mentality
MP Mushir Al-Masri, secretary of Hamas’s parliamentary bloc, said that Israel’s escalation against the Palestinian people in the Gaza Strip proved its criminal and terrorist mentality and insistence on committing more and more massacres.
He told the PIC on Tuesday that Israel was not content with the international crime against the Freedom Flotilla on Monday and is now maintaining the same mentality and committing more massacres in Gaza.
The lawmaker noted that the escalation followed the UN Security Council’s weak resolution that did not stipulate punishing Israel for its crimes.
Masri called for ending all kinds of negotiations and security coordination with Israel and resorting to national unity and resistance.
