Haneyya: The victims of Freedom Flotilla are the Palestinian people’s martyrs
GAZA, (PIC)– Palestinian premier Ismail Haneyya on Monday described the victims of Freedom Flotilla as “the Palestinian people’s martyrs” and declared Monday as “the day of freedom,” calling for a general strike tomorrow in the West Bank and the Gaza Strip.
In a televised speech, Haneyya demanded all parties participating in besieging Gaza to stop their collusion with Israel and called on the Fatah-controlled Palestinian Authority to stop all forms of negotiations with Israel.
The premier also stated that his government decided to give all participants in the convoy a medal of honor to immortalize their heroism and their humanitarian movement.
He also called on the Arab League and the organization of the Islamic conference to hold an emergency meeting to address the implications of this crime and to take a decision to break the blockade on Gaza.
