{"id":9164,"date":"2018-08-16T04:53:14","date_gmt":"2018-08-16T04:53:14","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/sunnionline.us\/english\/?p=9164"},"modified":"2018-08-16T04:53:14","modified_gmt":"2018-08-16T04:53:14","slug":"hajj-pivot-of-muslims-unity","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/sunnionline.us\/english\/2018\/08\/16\/9164\/","title":{"rendered":"Hajj, Pivot of Muslims\u2019 Unity"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>During a conference held in Makkah on Monday 13th Aug. 2018, famous Iranian Sunni scholar termed \u201cHajj\u201d one of the biggest purification projects and pivots of unity.<!--more--><br \/>\nThe news bureau of Shaikh Abdol-Hamid\u2019s office reported that he was talking in the conference of \u201cHajj &amp; Ahl-e-Bait; Pivot of Muslim Ummah\u2019s Unity\u201d in Makkah by the representation office of the supreme leader of Iran.<br \/>\nHe said: \u201cIslam calls on Muslims and human beings to be united. All daily, weekly and annual prayers (Eid prayers) as well as Hajj that is a worldwide congress are divine projects for pushing people towards unity and gathering.\u201d<br \/>\n\u201cHajj is a symbol of unity because Muslims from different backgrounds come here and circumambulate around Ka\u2019bah and carry out the Hajj rituals. Everyone acts according to his school of thought,\u201d president of Islamic Fiqh Academy of Iranian Sunnis added more.<br \/>\nHe further said: \u201cThe family members of the prophet PBUH are also one of the biggest pivots of Muslims\u2019 unity. All love the household of the Last Messenger, peace be upon him, as we could not conclude that the names of Ali, Fatima, Hassan and Hussein are circulated more among Sunnis or Shias.\u201d<br \/>\nPresident of Darululoom Zahedan urged on more mutual understanding among Muslims as many of them do not have accurate information about the other side.<br \/>\nHe said: \u201cAll Muslim sects and tendencies need to boost their tolerance as we belong to a religion and personalities who enjoy a vast capacity and tolerance. There were different thoughts and viewpoints among the companions and household of the prophet and they used to tolerate each other.\u201d<br \/>\nShaikh Abdol-Hamid concluded his points by saying: \u201cThe Muslim world is in a quite different situation comparing to 20 or 30 years ago; Shia and Sunni scholars should recognize the needs of this time.
