Khateeb of Sunnis pointed out to the bad effects of sins and misdeeds on human body and soul in his Friday sermon of 16th Feb. 2018 and urged on boosting spiritual aspect by acting upon the Shari\u2019ah commands.
\nShaikh Abdol-Hamid said in the presence of tens of thousands worshipers in Zahedan, Iran: \u201cMankind has two aspects of material and spiritual elements. Human beings need to food both of them.\u201d
\n\u201cWhatever is the need of human body for nourishment, Allah Almighty has given mankind from foods and fruits. The human spirit also needs some meal for its health. The nourishment of human soul is in all divine commands and worships such as offering prayers, fast and Zakah,\u201d he added more.
\nThe prominent Islamic scholar said: \u201cAs body gets illness if there is malnutrition. In the same way interruption in spiritual food makes human beings affected.\u201d
\n\u201cSpirituality of mankind gets eliminated by committing forbidden acts such as adultery, usury, looking at strange women with lust are among the dangerous sins which destroy the physical and spiritual health of mankind,\u201d he underlined.
\nThe president of Darululoom Zahedan further said: \u201cThe diseases of body are threats only in this world for human beings, but spiritual diseases are more dangerous as they affect mankind in grave and on the Resurrection Day if they do not treat them.\u201d
\n\u201cThere are lots of offices, clinics and buildings for treatment of body and its health. Everyone is worried about his health. But rarely people pay attention to their spiritual health. There are few people who sit with Ulama and pious people to overcome their inward diseases,\u201d he added more.<\/p>\n

\nIn the second part of his speech, Mawlana Abdol-Hamid warned of consequences of dividing Sistan-Baluchistan province calling on pro-division elements to make efforts for removing discriminations and creating jobs.
\nKhateeb of Sunnis in Zahedan alluded to the letter of two members of the Majlis\/parliament in favor of dividing the province of Sistan-Baluchistan and said: \u201cUnfortunately some MAs insist on dividing Sistan-Baluchistan province, while the interior minister has termed it against the interests of the province and there is no tendency in the government for dividing.\u201d
\n\u201cThe province of Sistan-Baluchistan is a notable and important province in Iran where respectable \u2018Baluch\u2019 and \u2018Sistani\u2019 people live together peacefully. If we divide it into three provinces, it will lose its previous fame and status,\u201d he added more.
\nThe most influential Iranian Sunni leader pointed out to the experience of previous divisions in some provinces of Iran and said: \u201cThe provinces which have been divided have not witnessed any positive impacts; rather they have lost their demographic texture and still they are on the same conditions which they had in past. We think the viewpoint of the opponents of division is correct.\u201d
\n\u201cPresenting the issue of dividing the province ends to a very big contention in the method of division and outlining the borders. It has dangerous consequences, that\u2019s why this plan is not a wisely project,\u201d president of Darululoom Zahedan said.
\nHe called on politicians who pursue the possible plan of dividing Sistan-Baluchistan to work hard for creating jobs and obtaining more budgets for the province.
\nShaikh Abdol-Hamid said: \u201cDiscrimination, unemployment, closure of the borders and leaving the potentials of the province unused are the most notable problems of the province.\u201d
\n\u201cDiscrimination in the province, especially in Sistan part, is on the highest range. More than 40% of the population belongs to Sunnis in Sistan region, but there is no a single district governor from the Sunni community. Only one vice-governor, one demarche and one chairman of an office belong to the Sunni community,\u201d he further said.
\nRecently two member of the parliament have asked the authorities to divide Sistan-Baluchistan into three provinces on the pretext of development. One of them was the former governor of the province. The six other members of the parliament, five Baloch and one Sistani MPs, opposed the plan publically by sending a letter to the president of Iran.
\nShaikh Abdol-Hamid objected and said: \u201cInstead of insisting on division, make your efforts to remove discrimination between Shia and Sunni communities. For the development of Sistan-Baluchistan all sects should be together in different offices.\u201d
\nHe expressed his thanks to the six MPs who have written a letter to the president of Iran against dividing Sistan-Baluchistan.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
