The eminent Islamic scholar, Shaikh Abdol-Hamid alluded to some fitnas in the end times, calling \u2018piety and imitation of Shari\u2019ah\u2019 the only remedy from all insurrections and fitnas.
\nTalking to tens of thousands worshipers in Zahedan, Iran, on Friday 21st Aug. 2015, he said, \u201cThe last messenger of Allah has warned people in various Hadiths on the insurrections and calamities of the end times. These warnings were not only to inform us; rather they are admonitions for us to be vigilant.\u201d
\nKhateeb of Sunnis added more, \u201cThe prophet Muhammad, peace be upon him, has informed a day would come that Muslims would follow Jews and Christians step by step honorably. We witness Muslims how they imitate the Western culture and lifestyle. They have left the simple and rich teachings of Islam for happy and sad ceremonies replacing them with stranger traditions.\u201d
\n\u201cThe prophet PBUH antedated there would be a time exercising on Islamic commands would be as difficult as putting ember in hands. People consider misdeeds \u2018advancement\u2019 and piety is considered \u2018backwardness\u2019.\u201d
\nHe further said, \u201cThere are various kinds of sins in the society nowadays; we should run away from sins like the prophet Yousuf PBUH seeking refuge to Allah Almighty. When a person runs away from sins, the doors of mercy would open for him\/her.\u201d
\nIndicating to another prediction of the last messenger, peace be upon him, he said, \u201cA time would arrive when other nations would call each other to eradicate Muslims. The companions, may Allah be pleased with all of them, asked: “Will it be because of our small number that day?” He said: “Rather, on that day you will be many, but you will be like foam, like the foam on the river. And Allah will remove the fear of you from the hearts of your enemies and will throw wahn (weakness) into your hearts.” Someone said: “O Messenger of Allah! What is wahn?” He said: “Love of the world and the hatred for death.”
\nWarning about the plans of enemies to spread immoralities in the society and said, \u201cNowadays enemies struggle day and night to spread vice and immoralities among Muslims by satellite TV channels and internet. They want to promote the Western culture in Muslim societies. So all Muslims should show vigilance and imitate the directions and teachings of Islamic Shari\u2019ah. The only way to get remedy of fitnas is to imitate Shari\u2019ah.\u201d<\/p>\n

\nAt the end of his speech, Shaikh Abdol-Hamid expressed his regret on the demise of Maulana Ghulam-Rasoul Barak-Zahi, the rector of Ishaa\u2019t-ut-Tawheed seminary of Saravan city. He said, \u201cMaulana Ghulam-Rasoul was a \u2018pious and outstanding scholar\u2019 and a \u2018grand man\u2019.
