{"id":3066,"date":"2013-10-14T16:58:14","date_gmt":"2013-10-14T16:58:14","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/localhost\/wp3\/?p=3066"},"modified":"2013-10-14T16:58:14","modified_gmt":"2013-10-14T16:58:14","slug":"sermon-2013-10-11","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/sunnionline.us\/english\/2013\/10\/14\/3066\/","title":{"rendered":"Full submission to Shari\u2019ah, the main lesson of Hajj"},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"text-align: left;\"><span style=\"color: #000000; font-size: small; line-height: 1.3em;\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"images\/stories\/khotab\/molana-abdolghani.JPG\" border=\"0\" alt=\"\" align=\"right\" \/>Mawlana Abdol-Ghani Badri, vice-rector of Darululoom Zahedan, shed light on the special virtues of Dhul-Hijjah, Hajj (pilgrimage) and sacrificing animals in the last lunar month in the Friday sermon of Sunnis in Zahedan, Iran, on 11th Oct. 2013.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>  <!--more-->  <\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">\u00a0<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\"><span style=\"color: #000000; font-size: small;\">Counting some important messages and lessons of Hajj, he declared \u2018full submission to Shari\u2019ah and Islamic commands\u2019 the most important lesson of this great worship.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\"><span style=\"color: #000000; font-size: small;\">Shaikh Badri began his sermon by reciting the initial verses of \u2018Al-Fajr\u2019 chapter of the Noble Qur\u2019an. He said, \u201cDays and nights of the first decade of the month of Dhul-Hijjah have very special virtues. The Almighty Allah swears by only considerable things. The<em> Mofasserin<\/em> (interpreters of the Qur\u2019an) state that \u2018Al-Fajr\u2019 in the Qur\u2019an means the tenth day of Dhul-Hijjah. The chapter points to the ten nights of Dhul-Hijja, as well.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\"><span style=\"color: #000000; font-size: small;\">He underlined \u2018Hajj\u2019 and \u2018Sacrifice\u2019 were the most important worships in the months of Hajj. Ramadan ends up with the Donation of Fitr, while the months of Hajj (Shawwal, Dhul-Qa\u2019dah, and Dhul-Hijjah \u2013 almost 70 days) end with the sacrifice. Hajj teaches us to imitate whatever the Sublime orders; there is no need to ask for any reason and philosophy as the prophets, Ibrahim and Ismael fully submitted to the order of Allah Almighty without questioning it. Ibrahim, peace be upon him, didn&#8217;t look for a reason for the command that Allah Almighty gave him, nor did Ismael knowing that he was going to be sacrificed. Rather they both willingly accepted the decision of Allah.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\"><span style=\"color: #000000; font-size: small;\">Islam means full submission to the will of the Almighty. It is the Sunnah of the prophet Ibrahim to imitate Allah completely. The lesson we can learn from this is to submit to the orders of Allah whether Allah has given us a reason for them or not. So we know that Allah has many actions for us such as the prohibition of<em> Riba<\/em> (usury), pre-marital relations with the opposite sex and backbiting. We must submit to these rules completely without attempting to justify engaging in them based on our own rationale, he urged.<\/span><br \/><span style=\"color: #000000; font-size: small;\">The interim Khateeb of Sunnis in Zahedan further said, \u201cThat is why, do not miss the particular rituals of these days; fasting on the day of Arafah, ninth Dhul-Hijjah that forgives sins of one year. \u2018Takbiraat-e-Tashriq\u2019, \u2018Eid prayers\u2019, and \u2018Sacrifice\u2019 are the other special deeds for Dhul-Hijjah.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\"><span style=\"color: #000000; font-size: small;\">At the end, Shaikh Abdol-Ghani Badri pointed out to the issue of Sunnis\u2019 Mosalla in Zahedan.
