In Iran, Women Have been the Most Discriminated Community

The most influential Iranian Sunni leader inspired Muslims to keep their faith safe after the holy month of Ramadan and not to exceed the truth even as the size of a hair.
Shaikh Abdol-Hamid was talking to tens of thousands of men and women worshipers on Wednesday, April 19, 2023, in the grand Makki mosque of Zahedan on the occasion of concluding Holy Qur’an in the Tarawih prayers.
The Iranian top Sunni cleric defended the women’s rights, saying that women have been suffering from discrimination in the Islamic Republic of Iran for so many years.
Shaikh Abdol-Hamid discussed different issues and ended the meeting with his prayer. People from villages and suburbs of Zahedan attended the meeting.
Expressing his regret over discriminatory behaviors against women in Iran, the Friday prayer leader of Sunnis in Zahedan emphasized that women should get their real position and must achieve their demands. “Women’s sanctity should be preserved. The holy Prophet Mohammad, peace be upon him, recommended the rights of women in the Arafat desert, in his last trip. Unfortunately, women’s rights are violated today, and they cannot determine their fate and get their inheritance.”
“No parents are allowed to force girls into marriage. Parents should consult with girls in this regard. Observing the rights of women is so important. The holy Qur’an has given women their complete rights,” the president of Darululoom Zahedan urged.

The future belongs to those who are seeking science and knowledge
Imam of the Grand Makki Mosque continued his speech, saying: “Let girls get education and knowledge; help them in this arena. Unfortunately, discrimination has been so high in the Islamic Republic of Iran. Not only Sunnis, but also the capable people of Shiites complain from discrimination. Discrimination against women has been one of the main problems in the country.”
“In the trips I had in Tehran in the past and met with the authorities, I repeatedly raised this issue and said that women have not been getting their own position,” he added more.

Interrogators cannot torture prisoners in detention centers
“According to the Islamic regulations, a culprit or prisoner must be investigated in a fair court. The prisoner’s sanctity must be maintained in the detention center. No interrogator has the right to beat and torture detainees”, said Shaikh Abdol-Hamid.
He continued: “In Islam, a judge will be punished if he beat the prisoner. During the caliphate of Sayyidana Omar, may Allah be pleased with him, one of the governors slapped a person and the complaint was raised to the Caliph. The Caliph Omar summoned the governor and told the person to take his revenge.”

I talk to defend Islam and rights of people
The Iranian top Sunni leader further said: “If sometimes we talk, we have a duty to defend the religion of Islam because it is the Islamic system here. We and the officials must be careful not to make anyone to hate the religion and Islam. All have a duty to implement the religion of Islam as the holy Prophet, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, and the Guided Caliphs, including the Caliph Ali, implemented.”
“We defend Islam within the framework of reason and logic, not in terms of hostility with someone. We say that justice and fairness must be implemented. We believe that the security of the country and the world is provided by the implementation of justice. If justice is implemented, the concerns of both rulers and people will be resolved”, president of Darululoom Zahedan said.
He said: “I believe that the officials must have a high prospect and respect the rights of all, regardless of their faith, gender or party. Implementation of justice is good for rulers and nations of the world. Everyone should be fair and have a broad sight. This is the teaching of the holy Qur’an and the order of Islam.”
“Only governments are not the audience of justice, but everyone must be adhering to justice,” Mawlana Abdol-Hamid urged at the end of his speech.
