Negotiation, Nearest & Safest Way to Solve Balochistan’s Problems

Referring to the recent tensions in the province of Balochistan of Pakistan that led to extra-judicial murders and detaining of some activists, the Iranian Sunnis’ leader addressed the administration of Shahbaz Sharif and other top officials of Pakistan to address the demands of the people of Balochistan.
Mawlana Abdol-Hamid urged on listening to the voice of the oppressed people of Balochistan and adopting peaceful and political tools to solve the crises.
Talking to the people of Zahedan, the capital of Iranian Balochistan, in the presence of tens of thousands of worshipers, on May, 27, 2022, he called on the both sides to avoid killing each other which is a loss for the entire Muslim world.
The Friday Imam of Sunnis in Zahedan noted: “Unfortunately, the province of Balochistan in Pakistan which is in our neighborhood, has been suffering from political problems and insecurity for years.”
“As a well-wisher, I’d like to advise the administration of Mr. Shahbaz Sharif and other Pakistani officials to manage and resolve the problems of Balochistan through political means. The problems of Balochistan cannot be resolved through murdering and detaining people. The killing of people in these tensions hit both Pakistanis and Muslims around the world,” said Shaikh Abdol-Hamid.
The prominent Baloch leader of Iranian Balochistan further said: “As human beings, we must feel compassion for all people of the globe. All human beings are brothers and sisters with each other in humanity, and the people of Pakistan have human, Islamic and patriotic brotherhood with each other. Therefore, the loss of one side is the loss for the both sides.”
“Debate is the best, safest and nearest way to solve the problems of Balochistan in Pakistan. We recommend the both sides to solve their problems through negotiations and peaceful political ways.”
