Self-reformation Can be Achieved through Divine Plans

Addressing the Friday worshippers of Zahedan, the most influential Iranian Sunni leader pointed out to the effects of the Shari’ah rules and divine commands in reforming society. He also believed that the divine rules were for human beings’ purification.
Talking to tens of thousands of people in Zahedan’s biggest Friday gathering on April 8, 2022, Shaikh Abdol-Hamid stated: “The purification of the people and the reform of society are possible only through the divine programs”.
“Allah wants to purify human beings through divine plans so that they deserve to enter the paradise. God has set a comprehensive plan for the improvement of human beings that encompasses all aspects of their lives. God Almighty sent various programs to improve and reform human beings”, said Mawlana Abdol-Hamid.
“Avoiding sins in addition to obedience the divine commands bring reformation to the community. When people observe fast but do not avoid sins, lie, gossip, slander and eat haram, they cannot achieve purity”, said the prominent Sunni scholar of Iran.
He continued: “God wants to purify and reform human beings through Ramadan. Worship has positive effects; fasting and Hajj keep worshippers healthy and protect them from sins. Zakah and prayers are two obligations that purify Muslims; Muslims can reach Allah through prayer and Zakah”.
The president of Darululoom Zahedan urged: “Offer prayers in mosques and do not stay away from mosques until the last moments of your life.”
“As long as you are in the mosque, Allah will send His mercy on you and the angels will pray for your forgiveness and mercy”, he said.
Believing that Ramadan was the best month to worship Almighty Allah, Shaikh Abdol-Hamid emphasized on praying, reciting the Qur’an and doing good deeds in this blessed month.
The Friday prayer leader of Sunnis in Zahedan stressed on the importance of helping the poor and needy people during the month of Ramadan and said: “Have spiritual and reform programs during the holy month of Ramadan, avoid useless things. Reduce personal work, worship more, and make up for the past shortcomings.”

Ignorance of divine commands is the main cause of human failure
The most outstanding Iranian Sunni scholar pointed to the causes of the causes of the current crises of human beings and said: “Today, the people of the world are facing serious crises and challenges; life has become difficult and people suffer from living condition and feel defeat and despair. War and bloodshed have become common and people want to overcome others through power.”
The president of Darululoom Zahedan pointed to the roots and causes of problems and said: “The reason of problems is humans’ action. People are far away from the path of Allah which is the way of the nature”.
“By following the path of Allah, life becomes pleasant for mankind”, he believed.
“The Companions of the Holy Prophet, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, were on the path of the nature; they succeeded in all areas”, said Imam of the Grand Makki Mosque of Zahedan.

Killing Shiite and Sunni scholars in Gonbad Kavous and Mashhad is condemned
Referring to the killing of two Sunni clerics in the northern city of Gonbad Kavous and subsequently two Shiite clerics in Mashhad, the Friday Khateeb of Zahedan condemned such actions.
“Killing innocent people is a heinous act. It is very ugly for a person to attack on others arbitrarily and murder them. Security is a great blessing which should be maintained”, he said.
“The Iranian nation is like a family and it has familiarity with other nations of the world. If a crazy and deviant person commits an indecent act, it should not be registered for all members of a community. Officials must be vigilant in addressing these issues”, said Mawlana Abdol-Hamid in his last points.
