Obey Allah and Prepare for the Hereafter Life

The Friday prayer leader of Sunnis in Zahedan advised Muslims to prepare for the Hereafter life and insisted on the importance of doing good deeds, earning lawful, avoiding sins and following the truth in all scenes of the life.
He addressed the Friday worshippers in Zahedan’s grand Musalla in August 20, 2021 and believed that true believers make efforts for the Hereafter life and work hard to be successful in that world.
The most influential Iranian Sunni leader considered the denial of the judgement day, obeying desires of the self, and being satisfied with the life of this world, as signs of negligence and said: “People are divided into two groups; the first group is those who don’t believe in the Hereafter and consider such a belief superstition and wrong. They consider mankind as an animal with the difference that mankind is more alert than the animal because mankind tries harder to earn a living than the animal”.
He said: “The deniers of the Day of Judgment are satisfied with wealth, money and material things and consider this a success. Allah is dissatisfied with such people, and sends them to the Hell, because they prefer this world to the Hereafter.”
“The second group is those who believe in Allah, in Hereafter and in divine books, and prepare for the Hereafter life along with making efforts to fulfill the needs of this world,” Shaikh Abdol-Hamid added more.
President of Darululoom Zahedan continued: “Believers always strive to gain Allah’s satisfaction and to work for the success of the Hereafter life. They do not commit corruption and bloodshed, but always do good deeds and spend their money to the poor and needy and in the way of Allah the almighty. They create jobs for the poor and needy and do not spend their money in wrong ways.”
“Allah has created this world to make the hereafter life. The believers consider the Hereafter life, which is long and lasting, as their main purpose and obey the prophets; such people are blessed by God”, said the prominent Sunni scholar of Sistan-Balochistan.
“Many people follow the desires of the soul and don’t believe in Allah and in the Hereafter; such people are misguided”, he added.

President of Darululoom Zahedan continued: “Many murders are done by the temptations of the soul. Therefore, we must take control over the soul; we mustn’t obey the desire of soul and the devil, but obey Allah the almighty.”
Emphasizing on the importance of reforming the society and on enjoining the good and forbidding the evil, Shaikh Abdol-Hamid believed that all pests and plagues that we see today in the world are due to mankind’s deeds and actions.
To get rid of calamities, plagues and pests, Shaikh Abdol-Hamid advised that believers should repent to Allah and seek forgiveness.
“Bloodshed, murders, bribery, looting the property of the weak people and orphans and so on, are among the sins that have caused such torments and plagues”, said the Friday Khateeb of Sunnis in Zahedan.
He emphasized: “Return to Allah to be saved of torments; repent, seek forgiveness and always remember Allah the almighty”.
“Adhere to good deeds, recite the Holy Qur’an, plan for raising the children, and work together to reform the society”, Shaikh Abdol-Hamid urged.

The people of Afghanistan should not leave their country
In another part of his speech, Shaikh Abdol-Hamid referred to the migration of Afghan people to the European countries and said: “The media reports suggest that some Afghan people migrate to the European countries. I’d like advise them not to emigrate and stay in their country”.
“No place can replace the homeland”, Shaikh Abdol-Hamid believed.
“Many Afghans emigrate for the sake of their children to find comfort, while in foreign countries children’s faith is at risk. The prophets and the righteous people tried to fix the beliefs of their families and children”, Imam of the grand Makki Mosque of Zahedan said.
“Many Muslims were brainwashed by emigration to the foreign countries and converted to other religions”, president of Darululoom Zahedan said.
The Iranian Sunnis’ leader pointed to the potentials of Afghanistan and said: “Afghanistan has a lot of resources, reserves and mines, so that with the proper management and with the cooperation of other countries, Afghanistan will develop by the passage of time”.
Shaikh Abdol-Hamid called on the new government of Afghanistan to develop this country and said: “With proper planning, the new system of Afghanistan can invite the Afghan elites and scientists to return to their country in order to make it together.”
“Dear people of Afghanistan! Do not immigrate to foreign countries. Afghanistan belongs to all Afghans. Staying at home and striving for the material and spiritual development of the country is a blessing from Allah the almighty”, the eminent Sunni scholar of Iran addressed the Afghan nation.

We welcome Taliban’s decision to ban drugs
Referring to the decision to “ban poppy cultivation” in Afghanistan by the Taliban movement, Shaikh Abdol-Hamid said: “We heard that Taliban decided to ban opium cultivation in Afghanistan; this is a very good decision, because drugs have caused great losses to the society and have been the cause of many murders, hostage-taking and insecurities”.
Concluding his points, the Friday Imam of Sunnis said: “We hope that the ‘Islamic Emirate’ will eradicate narcotics from Afghanistan so that its neighbors will be safe from the harms of drugs.”
