Resolve Country’s Current Crises

On the day of 13th presidential election of Iran, Shaikh-ul-Islam Mawlana Abdol-Hamid, the most outstanding Iranian Sunni leader while encouraging the people to vote for the most capable candidate, pointed out to some important tasks of the next president in resolving the current crisis of the country, in his Friday speech of June 18, 2021.

The Friday Khateeb of Sunnis in Zahedan said: “We hope that in the current situation, when the country is facing economic crises, challenges, discrimination and inequality, the next president will run the country better. The next president should put the implementation of justice, ensuring freedom and elimination of discrimination first to uproot economic problems”.
President of Darululoom Zahedan continued: “With proper management and by cooperation with other bodies of the country, the next president can overcome the current problems”.
“There should be a right policy in resolving the internal and foreign affairs”, said the prominent Sunni scholar of Iran.
He urged that the officials should fulfill the demands of the people of Iran first, than help other nations and countries.
“Iranians deserve more than other nations; therefore, the authorities should put them first”, said the Iranian Sunnis’ leader.
Referring to the importance of electing the more capable candidate, Shaikh Abdol-Hamid said: “I will participate in the elections and vote, and I advise you to participate in the presidential and local council elections. I hope your vote is effective, so vote for the right person.”
At the end of this part of his speech, Shaikh Abdol-Hamid pointed to some differences of opinion in supporting of some candidates and said that there were differences of opinion during the election campaign, which led to slander and blaming each other.
“Slanders were raised in cyber space. I’d like to advise all to put an end to all divisions and differences and be optimistic about each other,” he underlined.

Afghanistan needs lasting peace
Referring to the current situation in Afghanistan, Shaikh Abdol-Hamid said: “We hope that the Afghan government and the Taliban movement and other parties in Afghanistan will agree on the right and just solution so that the Afghan people can live in peace, security and tranquility.”
“The people of Afghanistan need security and peace”, he urged.
The eminent Iranian Sunni scholar said: “We hope that there will be a lasting peace in Afghanistan that brings security for Afghan people”, the most influential Iranian Sunni leader said.

Concluding his points, the Friday Imam of Zahedan alluded to the detention of the murderers of eight members of a family in Zahedan and said: “I thank the security forces for arresting the killers in a short period of time. This action made the people hopeful”.
Imam of the Grand Makki Mosque of Zahedan emphasized: “I call on the judiciary to address this case as soon as possible”.
