Alluding to Allah’s various blessings on human beings, Shaikh Abdol-Hamid insisted that mankind should be thankful to Allah the Almighty for every blessing. He also made Muslims aware of their duty of doing the good and forbidding the evil in his Friday speech of September 4, 2020.
The Friday prayer leader of Sunnis in Zahedan said: “The big problem is that many do not thank Allah for His blessings.”
“Why do not we see Allah and the blessings He has given us? Why we are not thankful to Allah for His blessings such as the Qur’an and other divine blessings? Why don’t we know the value of Allah’s book that speaks directly to human beings? Why don’t we know the value of the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him?” Shaikh Abdol-Hamid questioned.
“Why Muslims are not thankful to the Holy Prophet and the Qur’an, which are the spiritual blessings of God?” he added more.
“Human beings, especially Muslims, must not commit sins which are destructive”, Mawlana Abdol-Hamid said.
Friday Khateeb of Zahedan continued: “Jews and Christians faced problems when they did not know the value of the Torah and the Bible and the value of the Prophet Mousa and Eissa”.
He added: “Although the revelation of the Holy Qur’an was foretold in the Torah and the Bible, but the Jews and the Christians refused to accept the order of the Torah and the Bible and they followed Satan”.
Sunnis’ Friday leader of Zahedan went on to say more: “Those who commit sin, murder, looting and all kinds of crimes, oppression and corruption are in fact leaving the Book of Allah behind”.
President of Darululoom Zahedan pointed out: “We claim that we love the companions of the Holy Prophet PBUH and we remember them but we do not know about their piety, prayers and worship. The reason for the spread of plagues and calamities and the reason behind the failure of Muslims is that they are far away from Allah”.
“To fulfill the commands of God, we should preform our duty of doing the good and forbidding the evil; we should call all to God. We should recite the Holy Qur’an and act according to the Shari’ah and the direction of the Messenger of Allah”.
“The Holy Prophet, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, offered long prayers at night and thought how to save the Ummah from the hill. The beloved Prophet PBUH slept in the cave of Hira and the cave of Thor, which were in danger of snakes and scorpions”, Shaikh Abdol-Hamid said.
“Why does the Ummah not appreciate the Holy Prophet PBUH? Why have Muslims forgotten the Holy Prophet’s Sunnah? Why have we forgotten the Holy Quran?” Shaikh Abdol-Hamid further questioned.
Shaikh Abdol-Hamid emphasized on the necessity of doing good and said: “We should all fulfill our duty of enjoining to good and forbidding from what is evil. If we fulfill our duty, Allah will eliminate all plagues and climates”.
Landlords should take care of tenants
In another part of his speech, Shaikh Abdol-Hamid pointed to the problems of the people regarding renting a house and said: “Unfortunately, the price of rent has increased so much. Those who raise fares should consider that the money is devalued; it is true that money is devalued. But we must also keep in mind that business has also been hit. Landlords should consider the problems of tenants and their disabilities”.
At the end of his speech, Shaikh Abdol-Hamid urged on reopening mosques, schools, factories and markets with the observance of health protocols.
