Shaikh Ab. Hamid’s Condolence Message over Passing of Ml. Palanpuri

In a message of condolence, Shaikh Abdol-Hamid of Zahedan, Iran, expressed his deep sorrow and condolences over the death of Mufti Saeed Ahmad Palanpuri, Shaikh-ul-Hadith and principal of Darululoom Deoband, India.

Shaikh Abdol-Hamid considered his death as a “great loss” to the Islamic world.

The Iranian Sunnis leader offered his deepest condolence to the family and relatives, teachers and students of Darululoom Deoband and all Islamic learning centers of the Muslim world.

He said in his statement: “The services of Mufti Saeed Ahmad Palanpuri as Shaikh-ul-Hadith and the principal of Darululoom Deoband will never be forgotten.”

“Undoubtedly, his death was a great loss to the Islamic community”, he said.

The president of Darululoom Zahedan added: “On behalf of myself and my colleagues at Darululoom Zahedan, I offer my deepest condolences to the family, relatives and students of Mufti Saeed Ahmad Palanpuri and to the teachers and students of Darululoom Deoband. May Allah have mercy on him, bestow him full forgiveness and give his survivors patience and rewards.”

Mawlana Mufti Saeed Ahmad Palanpuri was a prominent scholar in the Islamic world who passed away on Tuesday, May 19, 2020.
