Allah’s Will Based on His Wisdom

Shaikh Abdol-Hamid of Zahedan, Iran, pointed to the causes of the current crises and incidents which the world has been facing in his Friday speech of March 6, 2020.

Shaikh-ul-Islam Mawlana Abdol-Hamid believed that Allah does everything in the world according to His wisdom/Hikmah. He was talking to thousands of worshipers before the Friday prayers in Zahedan.

The Friday Imam of Sunnis in Zahedan said: “However, Allah can do whatever He wants, but He is the most Wise; Allah’s will is based on His wisdom. According to this wisdom, He makes laws. It is Allah’s rule that whenever servants obey Him, He gives them a clean life and He sends down blessings from heaven upon them”.

“If people believe in Allah and fear Him, they will receive blessings from heaven and earth for them”, Shaikh Abdol-Hamid said.

He added that obedience to the Holy Prophet PBUH is the obedience to all prophets; “all prophets came with a religion which had the same principles”.

The president of Darululoom Zahedan said: “When people’s deeds are good, Allah gives them a comfortable life in this world and in the hereafter; if justice is implies the world will maintain; if there is ungrateful, Allah takes away the blessings from His servants”.

Shaikh Abdol-Hamid pointed out to the consequences of the Coronavirus which has affected the world economy. He considered it as the result of mankind’s actions saying: “Global economy, markets, industries, manufacturers and businesses hit through Coronavirus; some countries have cut ties like ours”.

He continued: “These events are God’s punishments and the result of human actions”.

Mawlana Abdol-Hamid further said: “Our own actions were bad; we have not obeyed Allah’s commands. We obeyed the devil and personal desire. We violated due rights of people. We missed the prayers; how much usury and illegal actions were taken and carried out by mankind!”

Mawlana Abdol-Hamid believed that the idolatry, infidelity and cruelty were the reasons behind the divine punishments which caused to the spread of Coronavirus.

India was one of the safest and most democratic countries

Mawlana Abdol-Hamid referred to the recent discriminatory laws issued by the Indian government against the Indian Muslims and said: “India was one of the safest and most democratic countries in the world that unfortunately enacted discriminatory laws against its Muslims”.

“Extremist rulers of India striped Kashmiris from their special status and then enacted a discriminatory law against Indian Muslims”, the Iranian Sunnis leader said.

Muslims see results of their deeds

In another part of his speech, Shaikh Abdol-Hamid considered what happens to Muslims in the world as the result of their deeds saying:
“The world is insecure today; Tawaf is closed; the rituals around the Ka’bah have been reduced; many Friday prayers gatherings have been cancelled and schools have been closed”.

He added: “These are the divine punishments which require from Muslims to repent and return to Allah the Almighty”.

Shaikh Abdol-Hamid encouraged Muslims for doing good deeds and said: “The morning prayer should not be wasted”.

The Imam of Grand Makki Mosque of Zahedan complained that Muslims still commit sins despite seeing divine alerts and said: “Unfortunately some continue drinking alcohols; some use narcotics and many others commit big sins”.

“Allah warns us to return to Him; we must receive Allah’s warnings; Allah says all incidents that mankind face are due to their acts and deeds; God wants us to change our lives.

Mawlana Abdol-Hamid advised more: “Tell women and children to give charity, repent and to pray; help the poor and imprisoned people’s families”.

He believed that the only way to rescue from divine punishment is to return to Allah and said: “There is no other way but to return to God”.

He considered these deeds as the Prophet’s traditions.

Sunnis rights should be considered as Shiites

“It is important to have a high vision in this field; Shiites and Sunnis should be considered as brothers; this is the way of moderation”, the Iranian Sunnis leader said.

He said: “We are always on the path of moderation”.

“Ethnic tendencies and narrow views in elections that do not consider all citizens’ rights cause to problems,” the member of the MWL urged.

He addressed people of Zahedan and said: “Don’t worry for losing seats of the Majlis, because MPs cannot carry out many services except overseeing law enforcement and legislating. Of course the law is disrupted these days; whoever has more force, break the law more. but we always follow the law and justice”, Shaikh Abdol-Hamid urged.

The Imam of Grand Makki Mosque called for moderation and said: “We should always have faith, honesty and moderation; we should not stray from our path under any circumstances”.
