Mankind Come for Reformation & Fighting Vice

Shaikh-ul-Islam Mawlana Abdol-Hamid pointed to the main purpose of human’s existence on the earth and explained the reality of Hereafter life and said that reforming society and fighting injustice are the first duties of a Muslim.

The Friday Imam of Sunnis in Zahedan reminded mankind, especially Muslims their philosophy of existence in the first part of his Friday sermon of 27th Dec. 2019.

He advised the worshipers not to be indifferent about Muslims’ conditions and to be kind to all human beings; to do their best for reforming society; make efforts to guide people; confront vicious culture and promote Islamic teachings.

Mawlana Abdol-Hamid rejected the theory of those who believe that “the one who commits any crime is still beloved by Allah”.

“According to the teachings of Holy Qur’an, Muslims should avoid sins and obey Allah to gain Allah’s satisfaction”, he further said.

Khateeb of Sunnis also said: “Reforming society and fighting corruption and vice are the main purposes of human’s existence; especially it is the duty of Muslims to work hard for reforming people.”

“Being apathy and indifferent to the situation of society is contrary to the divine task,” he added more.

Mawlana Abdol-Hamid said: “A Muslim should not just have a defensive state in fighting cultural invasion. They should resist such invasions.”

Indian CAA, a Blatant Discrimination & Insult against Muslims

In the second part of his speech, the most influential Iranian Sunni leader criticized the Indian new citizenship bill and believed that the recent Indian citizenship law was an obvious discrimination and insult against all Muslims.

Mawlana Abdol-Hamid called on all governments and states to combat oppression and discrimination in order to create harmony and unity among different cultures all over the globe.

“For so many years India has been a model country in freedom of speech and democracy, but unfortunately today Muslims are suffering in India since the extremist Prime Minister Narendra Modi has taken power”, president of Darululoom Zahedan said.

“With electing  Narendra Modi as the prime minster of India, Kashmir’s autonomy, that has been lasted for decades, was removed and recently a discriminatory citizenship law was passed in India that excludes Muslims from citizenship rights.”, he said.

Shaikh Abdol-Hamid said if India refuses to accept immigrants from other countries as citizens, this law should be equal for Muslims and non-Muslims not to accept only non-Muslims as citizens and reject Muslims.

He urged: “The recent Indian citizenship law is an obvious discrimination against Muslims in India and humiliation of all Muslims around the world.”

“Why Modi does not use wisdom and he wants make unsafe and insecure by his decisions?” he questioned.

Mawlana Abdol-Hamid suggested and said: “I’d like to advise all Indians, Muslim and non-Muslim leaders to keep their country safe and maintain its stability”.

The Friday Imam of Sunnis in Zahedan pointed out to the consequences of discrimination and said that discrimination causes insecurity in every country and society.

“Use of force and arm to maintain security is a wrong policy; it is justice which eliminates discrimination and creates security in societies”, the Iranian Sunnis leader said.

He said that discrimination is not only condemned in Islam but it is also rejected by international laws, because discrimination is against the interest of nations and states.

Mawlana Abdol-Hamid further called on governments to confront injustice and tyranny “at least for their own interests”.

“It is impossible to bring unity and provide security only by words and slogan without taking practical steps. The ground of slogans is so short”, he added more.

China and Myanmar’s crimes against Muslims are inhumane

The Friday Imam of Sunnis in Zahedan criticized China and Myanmar’s crimes against Muslims in East Turkestan/Xinjiang province and said that the crimes which they have committed in Xinjiang are shameful.

Mawlana Abdol-Hamid questioned why leaders of Myanmar and china are violating human rights?

“Committing such a crime is contrary to human nature. It shows when people go against their nature, how brutal they become”, he said.

Heads of Islamic countries cannot defend Muslims due to disputes

At the end of his speech, Mawlana Abdol-Hamid regretted on the weakness of Islamic countries in defending Muslims around the world and said: “Although the leaders of Islamic countries maybe able to defend Muslim rights , they reject to do this regarding their interests and due to their differences and disputes”.

“Today non-Muslims defend oppressed Muslims in some areas while Muslims do not defend their Muslim brothers”, the Imam of Grand Makki mosque said.

“We put our trust in Allah; He is sufficient for us and He defends Muslims and makes their situation better”, he wished.
