Revocation of Kashmir’s Autonomy, a Hurried & Fully Wrong Decision

Once again the most outstanding Iranian Sunni leader reacted to the abrogation of the special status of Jammu & Kashmir by the Hindu-nationalist government of India. He called on the Indian nation and the international community to put on India pressure for deterring it about its disputable decision.
Talking to tens of thousands of worshipers on Eid al-Adha (12 August 2019) in the main Mosalla of Sunnis in Zahedan, Mawlana Abdol-Hamid said: “We witness Muslims suffer from oppression in different regions; the last one was abrogation of Jammu & Kashmir’s autonomy by India.”
He added more: “India has been an example of freedom and good behavior with Muslims, but the decision of abrogating Kashmir’s autonomy was a hurried and fully wrong step.”
“We ask the Indian nation and the international community along with the human rights organizations to put pressure on the Indian government in order to force it to deter its decision and the people of Jammu and Kashmir could retain their due rights.”
Shaikh Abdol-Hamid alluded to the ruthless steps of China against Muslims and said: “Chinese Muslims have been under torture on the pretext of “counter-extremism”. Chinese statesmen tell lie; pressuring common Chinese Muslims is in contrary to this claim.”
“It is regrettable that some Muslim countries supported Chinese government’s policies and anti-Muslim tortures. In fact, these all problems of Muslims return to their disputes and divisions of Muslim countries. No one can oppress united Muslims,” he underlined.

Nudity and escaping religion should be resisted
In a part of his speech on Eid day, president of Darululoom Zahedan warned about the emergence of nudity and escaping religion in the society and said: “Unfortunately the rate of escaping religion has been high as hidden and visible Satans work hard to get people, especially young, away from the correct faith and Shari’ah.”
“In the past, enemies used to kill faithful young by weapons, but it was defaming them so they have found another way to kill their faith and modesty by using new methods and means.”
He said: “Although the internet has positive sides and it can be used correctly, but there are tools which target young’s modesty and religion revoking them to obey their egos and inner desires.”
Referring to the 27th verse of An-Nisa chapter of the Noble Qur’an, Shaikh Abdol-Hamid said: “Allah Almighty says: “those who follow their lusts would want you to drift far away from the right way”. The circumstances have affected modesty of women, too and now women appear in public places with inappropriate dresses and make-ups where non-mahram men are present.”
“Men are responsible for the hijab and clothing of women as they are guardians of families. Parents should realize the sensitivity of the conditions and control their children saving them from the nets of charlatans. Silence of husbands and parents in this regard is a sin,” Shaikh added more.
He called on young to avoid from baseless cultures of the West and obey Islamic culture and the life of the beloved prophet, peace be upon him. He said: “The young should not waste their time by gathering in streets and making useless meetings. Instead of knife, they should take pen in their hands and get education.”

Tribal bigotries refused by Islam
Shaikh Abdol-Hamid alerted about some hidden hands that excite tribal and ethnic disputes.
He said: “There are secret elements and hidden hands which want to inflame the fire of tribal and ethnic bigotries again which have been quenched for a long time. They want to push people to the ignorant era of the 20th century. So Ulama, teachers, tribal elders, academic figures, the young and all classes of the society should be vigilant and alert.”
“Islam denies tribal and ethnic biases. All ethnic communities and tribes are equal brothers. The prophet PBUH announced in the desert of Arafat that none of tribes and ethnic communities has superiority on other tribes. Arabs and non-Arabs, black and whites are equal; tribal differences are just for recognition,” senior Hadith teacher of Darululoom Zahedan said.
He warned about tribal clashes and said: “If a person from any tribe commits any crime, justice should be implemented and only that person should be tried not his entire family or tribe.”

Do not increase the number of grand mosques
At the end of his speech, chairman of the Coordination Council of Sunni Seminaries expressed his regret on the growing number Friday gatherings for prayers in some cities.
He said: “Increasing number of grand mosques is not good as the rationale behind gathering Muslims for the Friday prayers is to gather the maximum number of worshipers. Friday prayers with less number of worshipers are free of spirit.”
“In the early ages, there was only one gathering for the Friday prayers in every city. The jurists allowed multiple gathering for Friday only for excuses like lack of places for worshipers. So for the sake of a few disabled people the gathering of Muslims should not be targeted,” Mawlana Abdol-Hamid underlined.
