Some Regulations of Three Powers Need Change & Modification

Mawlana Abdol-Hamid called on official bureaus to work hard for resolving people’s problems urging on the necessity of “revision”, “change” and “modification” of some regulations in the three powers of the state.
The official website of Shaikh Abdol-Hamid reported his Friday speech of June 21, 2019 where he said in the presence of a high profile delegation of the judiciary: “As the general prosecutor informed, there have been efforts to decrease capital punishments. As well as, efforts have been made to save murderers from capital punishment.”
“Civility has also been taken roots in the judiciary to a considerable extent. It is a very good phenomenon. The chief justice has announced recently that viewpoints of intellectuals will be exploited in order to reform the judiciary,” he added more.
Khateeb of Sunnis in Zahedan said: “Forty years have passed since the revolution; now it is necessary to reform and modify some regulations of the judiciary and other bureaus.”
“The regulations based on the clear texts of the Qur’an and Sunnah cannot be changed, but man-made laws and regulations and fatwas in any school of thought can be changed and reformed in accordance with the needs of time,” he underlined.
Chairman of the Coordination Council of Sunni Seminaries in Sistan-Balochistan province of Iran shed light on the importance of justice and said: “All religions, sects and even cultures and viewpoints believe in implementation of justice. Justice is one of the important rulings and principles according to all Islamic sects. Implementation of justice is very important in the Islamic Republic of Iran and a religious state.”
“During the last days of the Shah regime and early days of the Islamic revolution, a slogan was famous that power can maintain its life with infidelity but not with cruelty. Allah Almighty may tolerate idolatry and paganism, but He does not tolerate injustice and wasting rights of people,” Mawlana Abdol-Hamid said.
He emphasized: “I do not see any worship equal to implementation of justice. Worships like offering prayers and observing fast, despite being principles and pillars of Islam, are personal worships with benefits for individuals. If we implement justice in a case, its reward will be more than an accepted Hajj for us.”
“Judges should maintain their impartiality and unbiasedness in cases and people’s differences. When there is a difference between people and any governmental office, judges should prefer people as much as it is possible to resolve their problems,” Shaikh-ul-Islam Mawlana Abdol-Hamid said.
At the end of his speech, he pointed out to the problems of people in housing and said: “People have been suffering in housing and obtaining documents for their farming lands. We hope all related bureaus will consider the problem and support people.”
