Last Ten Days of Ramadan, Best Opportunity for Purification

Khateeb of Sunnis in Zahedan termed the last ten days of Ramadan “the best time for purification of soul and reaching to Allah” and advised Muslims to recite Holy Qur’an, donate on the way of Allah, seek His forgiveness, sit in Etikaf and spend the nights of destiny in the last ten days of Ramadan.
Maulana Abdol-Hamid said in the Friday sermon of May 24, 2019: “We are in the best time. Ramadan, especially its last ten days are the best times for the purification of soul and reaching to Allah. The night of destiny is also in the last part of Ramadan in which the Noble Qur’an has been revealed.”
“The beloved prophet of Allah used to leave home and sit in Etikaf during last ten days of Ramadan worshiping his Lord and Creator with full attention. He used to sit and meditate how to save the nation of Muslims and all human beings,” he added more.
Shaikh further said: “The whole life of the prophet was dedicated for the Ummah and planning for its better future, but in the holy month of Ramadan, especially in the last ten days, he used to worship Allah more by staying awake whole nights and awakening his family members.”
“Good servants of Allah used to take the advantage of times and benefit from such opportunities. We also should do so and reform our deeds and inner bad habits during Ramadan,” he said.
President of Darululoom Zahedan underlined: “In the last ten days of Ramadan Masjid-un-Nabi used to have a different atmosphere where the companions of Rasoulullah were reciting the Qur’an, remembering Allah and seeking forgiveness from Him.”
“Decrease your routine works during last ten days of Ramadan and make yourself busy with worships. Pay your Zakah carefully as carrying out an obligation has seventy times more rewards,” he said more.
Chairman of the Islamic Fiqh Academy of Sunnis in Iran shed light on the blessings of the destiny night and said: “Do not waste your time and occupy your time with good acts. If we work hard to reform ourselves during Ramadan, its impacts will remain effectual until the next Ramadan.”
“We should change our attitude and make serious efforts to worship Allah. Then the Almighty will reveal His blessings and mercies on us. The one who does not benefit from these blessing days and nights, s/he is really a deprived and disadvantaged,” he added more.
Khateeb of Sunnis concluded his speech by saying: “Uproot arrogance, enmity, hatred, stinginess and negligence from your hearts; these things make people deprived and they cannot benefit from the virtues of the night of destiny and Ramadan. Pardon and forgive people in order to be pardoned. Resolve disputes because disputes and differences damage faith and Deen/religion.”
