Ramadan, Spring of Leaving Sins

Shaikh Abdol-Hamid called on Muslims to hasten towards Allah during Ramadan and termed it the spring of leaving sins and misdeeds.
Khateeb of Sunnis said in his Friday sermon of May 10, 2019: “The guest for whom all Muslims were waiting has arrived. There is no guest dearer than the holy month of Ramadan.”
“Ramadan is the month of guidance, faith, Qur’an and the season of worshiping Allah. This month softens hard and dead hearts pulling out people from their homes towards mosques. Lazy people who used to miss some daily ritual prayers abide with the prayers during Ramadan,” he added more.
Senior Hadith teacher of Darululoom Zahedan said: “As the beloved and righteous and truthful prophet as informed us that the gates of the Hell remain closed during Ramadan and the gates of mercy and paradise remain open. Allah locks refractory Satans during Ramadan; they cannot approach human beings directly, but Satans tempt people despite being away from them.”
“This is the month in which people defeat the overwhelmingly commanding self and grind it down. It is an opportunity to know Allah more and hasten to Him by doing good deeds and avoiding from bad acts,” he further said.
President of Darululoom Zahedan said: “Some non-Muslims in non-Islamic countries observe fast or at least they do not eat/drink anything publicly to respect their Muslim neighbors, but here in an Islamic country some Muslims do not respect Ramadan. They do not observe fast and do not offer prayers. Such people do not deserve the title of Muslim.”
“There is a night which is better than one thousand months. Allah spreads and unfolds His repast and distributes rewards among His servants countlessly. It depends on our ambition and efforts that how much we can collect,” he said.
Khateeb of Sunnis said: “This holy month has taken its blessings and virtues from the Noble Qur’an. So recite this great book and meditate on its meanings and lessons. Donate on the path of Allah and pay your Zakah to needy people, to families of prisoners and orphans and Islamic schools which are centers of distributing knowledge and Qur’anic sciences. Complete half-finished mosques’ buildings and always remembers Allah.”
“Fasting is not limited to avoid from eating and drinking, but also avoid sins and misdeeds. Sins are very dangerous. Lessen your eating, drinking and sleeping. Protect your eyes, ears and tongue from misdeeds. The spring of leaving sins and doing good acts has reached,” he added more.
Alluding to the importance of Zakah, Maulana Abdol-Hamid said: “Ramadan is the month of Zakah. It is the important order of Allah. As much the Noble Qur’an emphasized on the importance of Zakah, we have not told you people. It is more important than what you may think. Unless you do not pay Zakah, your heart and wealth will not be clean from the dirt of stinginess and greediness. All classes of society should pay their Zakah and avoid from ruse in order to save their money and wealth from Zakah.”
At the end of his speech, Shaikh Abdol-Hamid announced the amount of Sadaqat-ul-Fitr for the people of Zahedan as the Assembly of Fiqh decided.
