All Iranians Have Equal Rights

The most influential Iranian Sunni leader urged on maintaining peace at borders and demanded engagement of capable citizens in official departments without discrimination.
Shaikh Abdol-Hamid was talking to the audience of a graduation ceremony held in Seerkan village of Bamposht town of Saravan, Iranian Balochistan on Sunday 28th April, 2019.
He said: “Religious and sectarian differences and disputes are the worst kind of disputes. Muslims should have unity and solidarity.”
President of Darululoom Zahedan emphasized on removing all kinds of discriminations and said: “We want equal rights for all Iranians; none of Iranians should be different with these people in rights. This is the order of Islam and our constitution.”
“Educated and capable people of this region should not be different to others [in employment and engagement]. Shia and Sunni competent citizens should be next together. This is the thing we want,” he added more.

Resolve people’s identity documents problems
In another meeting in Zahedan with the chief justice of Iran, governor of Sistan & Balochistan and representative of the supreme leader in the province, Shaikh Abdol-Hamid urged on resolving people’s anxieties about identity documents, housing and farming wells.
He was talking in the administrative meeting of Sistan & Balochistan province in the governor house on Wednesday, 1st May, 2019.
“The problem of identity documents has been changed to a big problem and dilemma in this province. However some efforts have been made to provide documents to some citizens, but still there are problems and obstacles,” he added more.
Maulana Abdol-Hamid addressed the chief of justice and asked him to issue an order for resolving such problems.
He said: “Due to high rents, people run towards villages, but thanks to legal obstacles, they cannot build houses. Unfortunately weak administrative rulings about people’s housing cannot resolve their problems.”
“There are arid regions in Sistan & Balochistan which are untouched. People want to recover such lands and build houses, but officials destroy their houses and there are legal obstacles. Also farming wells have been destroyed and they cannot earn livelihood by this way. We should support villagers,” Shaikh Abdol-Hamid underlined.
