A prominent Islamic Sunni scholar, Mawlana Mohammad Hasan Barfi, passed away on Tuesday 6th Nov. 2018 in Tabas Masina city of South Khorasan province in the eastern Iran.
Sources in Tabas Masina told “SunniOnline” that Mawlana Barfi was talking with some students at his home before sunset, but suddenly his condition was changed and then he passed away.
Mawlana Barfi was 83. He was Friday Imam of Tabas Masina and president of Ali bin Abi-Taleb seminary in the same city.
He got religious education in Pakistan. Mawlana Mohammad Yousuf Banuri, Mufti Mahmoud, Mufti Rasheed Ahmad Ludhyanvi and Mawlana Ghulamullah Khan are among his famous teachers and mentors.
Mawlana Barfi was a well-known scholar in Khorasan who was talking about tenets and social issues openly.
