Saudi Officials Have to Try Culprits behind Khashoggi’s Murder

The eminent Sunni scholar reacted to the murder of Saudi journalist, Jamal Khashoggi and called on Saudi officials to try and punish culprits who were involved in his assassination.
The official website of Shaikh Abdol-Hamid reported that in a part of his speech on Friday 2nd Nov. 2018 he said: “The brutal murder of Jamal Khashoggi, a famous Saudi journalist and critic has shocked the world. The Saudi government has been damaged badly from this incident.”
“We hope Saudi officials will follow up this case with full attention and seriously. The culprits behind this murder who ordered, made plan and directly took part in the assassination should be tried and punished in order to condole people of the world,” the most influential Iranian Sunni leader urged.
He pointed out to similar assassination cases in many other countries and said: “Unfortunately some countries work hard to obliterate their opponents and critics, while it is the worst way and method.”
“The best strategy is the method of dialogue and negotiation with opponents and critics. We think negotiation can decrease disputes in the world and creates adjustment making opponents softer,” Khateeb of Sunnis underlined.
He went on to say more: “If the world comes towards dialogue and negotiation going on the path of moderation, at least the crises will be controlled and fighting with them will be easier.”
“Implementation of justice is the best way to make the world secured with durable friendship and unity. Implementation of justice brings individual and social peace in society. There is no any better prescription that justice for establishment of peace and unity,” Shaikh Abdol-Hamid said.
In a part of his speech, he alluded to the upcoming new sanctions on Iran which will be imposed by the US since Nov. 3 and called such sanctions “unjust”.
Meanwhile, Shaikh Abdol-Hamid called on masses to make Du’a to get rid of economic crises and the rest of problems as he asked the authorities to find out any “comprehensive and quick solution” for the ongoing crises.
