Focus shifts to Mina as sea of white-robed Hajj pilgrims occupy tents

Despite soaring temperatures, momentum is building as the a major set of Hajj ritual takes millions of pilgrims, distinguished by their white robes, pouring into the tent city of Mina.
Around two million Muslim faithful are beginning their Hajj pilgrimage on Sunday.
The pilgrimage represents one of the five pillars of Islam and is required of all able-bodied Muslims once in their life.
‎Large number of buses carrying pilgrims started rolling from Mecca enroute to Mina on Saturday evening in a process that was bound to extend into the wee hours.
The entire area has been cordoned off to ease the flow of pilgrims and there is massive security presence all over to ensure smooth passage.
The pilgrims will spend near two nights here and will leave for Arafat just after dawn on Monday‎.
Buses and cars are speeding through to complete delivery of goods and services and they will be ordered away from streets beginning Sunday.
