Muslims Won’t Remain Silent over US Embassy Move to Jerusalem

Prominent scholar of the Iranian Sunni community termed the US embassy move to Jerusalem a “crime” and “bitter memory”. He called Muslim rulers to struggle for uniting the Muslim world instead of “expansionism” and “avarice”.
The official website of Shaikh Abdol-Hamid reported, he reacted to the US embassy shift to Jerusalem in the sermon of May 18, 2018 and said: “Inauguration of the US embassy in Jerusalem was a bitter, ugly and unpleasant act which hurt feeling of all Muslims of the world and other free-minded people.”
“Bait-ul-Maqdis is the first Qibla of Muslims and it has been under the control of Muslims for many centuries. Muslims deserve to rule on this city more than any other community, because they hold the last divine religion and book and they believe in the last prophet,” he added more.
President of Darululoom Zahedan further said: “The US embassy move to al-Quds is a big crime committed by the US officials, particularly Donald Trump. This act hurt religious feelings of Muslims of the world. However, the US officials wanted to decrease Muslims’ anger by congratulating Ramadan to them, but this deep wound cannot be healed by any balm.”
“Muslims will never forget the bitter memento of the US embassy shift to Jerusalem. God willing they will decide in this regard and they won’t sit doing nothing. Muslims will never forget Jerusalem,” he added more.
Mawlana Abdol-Hamid said: “This act of the US may provoke Muslims and get them away from disunion and divisiveness. The enemies of international Zionism have created disputes among Muslim countries and they misuse these differences.”
“It is the time for Muslim rulers to respect the borders of Muslim states and unite Muslims instead of expansionism, avarice and boosting hegemony. Shias and Sunnis should be together instead of making distance; they should be one hand before arrogant elements like the US and Israel,” the most influential Iranian Sunni leader clearly said.

Respecting rights of all makes Muslim world united
Khateeb of Sunnis went on to say more: “The Muslim world needs a real unity and solidarity which can be obtained by formatting comprehensive governments and respecting due rights of all communities, especially minorities.”
“Discrimination should be removed among nations in the Muslim world. All nations should be equipped with equal rights. Respecting rights is the most important factor that unites nations,” he added more.
Shaikh Abdol-Hamid urged: “I address all Muslim rulers everywhere that highlighting sectarian issues and differences is not remedy for any pain of Ummah. It is not going to make the Islamic world united; Muslims need to focus on common tenets and points and respect each other’s rights.”
“If Muslims do not want to be united and sit around the table of negotiation in the ongoing circumstances, then when and in which conditions they want to be unified? This is the time of vigilance; all Muslims including men and women, young and old should be awaken,” he emphasized.
Member of the MWL supreme council said: “The critical situation of the Muslim world is the result of negligence, dispute and heedlessness of Muslims. I’d like to invite all Muslims, including rulers, Ulama, elites, intellectuals, writes and different classes to take care of the ongoing conditions of the Muslim world and striving to unite Muslims should be the epigraph of their activities.”
At the end of his speech, Shaikh Abdol-Hamid called on people to use minimum amount of water as the country has been suffering from famine.
