The 27th graduation ceremony of Darululoom Zahedan concluded it’s a day long programs on Thursday 12th April, 2018 in provincial capital of Sistan-Baluchistan, Zahedan.
SunniOnline reported, more than two hundred thousand people from different provinces of Sistan-Baluchistan took part in the graduation ceremony which has been altered to the main and biggest gathering of the Sunni community in Iran.
Due to huge presence of people, the organizers started the ceremony unofficially in evening of Wednesday. Some scholars talked to the audience in the unofficial session.
The official sessions of the 27th graduation ceremony began on Thursday morning. In the first part which was continued to Dhuhr prayers, about 10 scholars and officials talked to the participants. The scholars belonged to different parts of Iran including Golestan, Western Azerbaijan, Kurdistan, Hormozgan and Baluchistan.
The first session was concluded with announcement of male Huffadh students’ names and delivering prizes to them.
The last and final session was started after Asr prayers where the number of participants increased. In this session Mufti Mohammad Qasem Qasemi, the Hadith teacher of Darululoom Zahedan, Ayatollah Suleimani, representative of Ayatollah Ali Khamenei and finally Shaikh-ul-Islam Mawlana Abdol-Hamid, president of Darululoom Zahedan delivered their speeches.
At the end of the ceremony, names of graduates (186 male and 107 female) were announced and they received prizes and turbans from their teachers and special guests of the ceremony.
SunniOnline broadcast the ceremony live by internet which was transmitted by some satellite TV channels. Live updates also published by SunniOnline team on social media pages and website in Persian.
