Shaikh Mohsen Motamed, Amir of Tablighi Jamaa’t in Hormozgan province passed away on Friday 16th Feb. 2018 after a stroke attack.
SunniOnline reported Shaikh Motamed was a prominent Islamic scholar and preacher in the southern parts of Iran.
He was a key figure in Tablighi Jamaa’t of Iran and respectable person among religious and social circles of the Sunni community.
Shaikh Abdol-Hamid, the most influential Iranian Sunni leader issued a statement and called Shaikh Mohsen one of the famous and active preachers of the country who spent his life on the path of Allah to spread the Noble Qur’an and Sunnah.
He expressed his condolences with the people of the southern region of Iran and especially to his relatives and family members.
The funeral prayer of the late Shaikh was offered today (17th Feb.) in the Grand Mosque of Bandar Abbas city, the provincial capital of Hormozgan.
