Take Divine Warnings Serious

Shaikh Abdol-Hamid termed calamities the results of ‘negligence’ and crimes carried out by human beings. He called on people to take divine warnings ‘serious’.
Talking to Sunni worshipers in Zahedan on Jan. 13, 2018, Khateeb and Friday imam of Zahedan said: “Allah Almighty has left every mankind free to obey or disobey his real Lord. But He urges on obedience.”
“Allah is unhappy with those who go on the path of injustice and cruelty instead of justice. Why human beings should leave the correct path of Shari’ah and work badly? Allah punishes such people because they did not use their wisdom and committed sins,” he added more.
Mawlana Abdol-Hamid counted “financial corruption”, “lies”, “accusation”, “murdering” and “magic” among the major sins carried out in society which should be abandoned as the Qur’an and Sunnah order.
“Allah watches all crimes and sins, but He has patience and postpones His punishment to give time to His servants. He postpones punishment for some people to make their dark records heavier and darker,” he further said.
The president of Darululoom Zahedan said: “Unfortunately, people witness different kinds of calamities such as frequent earthquakes, lack of rains and dullness of market, but they are not ready to seek the forgiveness of the Almighty.”
“We have no choice but to repent and ensure the rights of the Almighty. We should change our lives and leave all sins to be protected from divine punishments in the both worlds,” he added more.
Shaikh Abdol-Hamid urged at the end of his speech: “I see the frequent earthquakes and lack of rains in the world and especially in this country [Iran] dangerous. Take the divine warnings serious. Change your conditions, and then Allah will change our conditions.”
