Vote is a Trust & Shouldn’t be Betrayed

Khateeb of Sunnis in Zahedan urged on taking part in elections on Friday 19th May, 2017 and termed the vote of people a “trust which shouldn’t be betrayed”.

Alluding to the 12th presidential election of Iran and elections of city and village councils, Shaikh Abdol-Hamid said: “The result of the election in Iran is important for all; the whole world is watching the Islamic Republic of Iran. We hope prosperity and successfulness for the Iranian nation in this test.”

“We will be prosperous in the world when we pass the test successfully. All should take part in the polling and there should not be any fraud, the vote of people should decide. This is the right of nation which has been affirmed in the constitution,” he added more.

The rector of Darululoom Zahedan said: “If the Iranian nation cast their vote and the authorities get good marks in the test of election, all predictions and analyses of the elements who wish ill for Iranians. We should prove it by act that piety and honesty rule on elections in Iran.”

“The vote of people is a trust and those who betray this trust, they have no faith as the prophet, peace be upon him, said. All sides should move on the path of justice. It is justice that can ensure peace and security. It should be implemented, even if it goes against our well and wishes,” he underlined.

Mawlana Abdol-Hamid made it clear: “Fraud and even accusation of fraud is bad for everyone. In the previous elections, some people reached to the parliament and other posts by fraud. It is very bad for them.”

He called the audience to take part in the election ignoring propaganda of some media sources. He said it is a national and religious duty to participate in election; it is not the case of choosing “bad” to avoid from “worse”, rather we elect the “best” out of “goods”.
