People of Nimruz should Keep Supporting Ulama

The eminent Islamic scholar in Zahedan has consoled the people of Nimruz province of Afghanistan on the martyrdom of Molawi Salahuddin Mowahhed calling on them to keep supporting Ulama stronger.
In a part of his sermon of Nov. 18, 2016, Khateeb of Sunnis in Zahedan said, “The martyrdom of Molawi Salahuddin, the capable preacher of Nimruz, was a big loss for the people of this province.”
“We are with the people of Nimruz in this hard time consoling his survivors. May Allah reward the people of Nimruz an excellent substitute. We call on the people and Ulama of this province to keep supporting the cause of Islam stronger,” he added more.
Shaikh Abdol-Hamid urged, “The scholars of Nimruz next to their duties should maintain the activities and social and religious services of the late Mawlana Salahuddin.”

Friday is for worshipping the Almighty
In the first part of his sermon, Shaikh Abdol-Hamid alluded to the importance of Friday prayers in Islam and said, “Islam is the last and chosen religion which has plans for the guidance, prosperity and salvation of the mankind.”
“Namaz/prayer is the biggest worship in Islam. Allah the Almighty loves prayers in congregation. Group worships are preferred in Islam. Five-time prayers should be offered in congregation in towns while the Friday prayer should be established in grand mosques to gather all citizens,” he underlined.
Khateeb of Sunnis in Zahedan said, “Friday prayer is obligatory on every Muslim. It has come in Hadiths that the person who misses Friday prayer three times without any excuse, he would be considered a hypocrite. Going for Friday prayers is very valuable act as the person gets special rewards. It remits the sins of a week.”
“As in Ramadan the Night of Destiny has a particular status, Friday also has a special position in the days of a week. It is the day of worship. There are moments in this day which are the best times for accepting prays. So we should spend our Fridays in worships not sleeping and picnic,” he concluded his points.
At the end of his sermon, Shaikh Abdol-Hamid consoled the family of a journalist killed in Syria.
