Denouncing aerial strikes on the ‘innocent people’ of Yemen and Syria, the prominent Islamic scholar expressed his deep concerns in his Friday speech of Oct. 14, 2016.
“SunniOnline” quoted the website of the office of Shaikh Abdol-Hamid, Khateeb and Friday imam of Sunnis in Zahedan, he alluded to the recent bombardments in Aleppo and Yemen and said, “Bombardment of a mourning ceremony in Yemen hurt us a lot. In the attack many participants of the ceremony lost their lives. It was a wrong act and innocent residents were killed.”
“Unfortunately, the crisis has reached to a point that innocent and defenseless people are not safe in mosques and mourning ceremonies,” he added more.
The rector of Darululoom Zahedan stated, “Repeated bombardments and massacring innocent people in Aleppo have no justification. We decry bombardment of cities and civilians by illegal bombs in Syria and Yemen.”
